New American Restaurants near West Haven, CT

“Went there last Saturday, August 3rd at 12:30 pm and had the best time ever. I spoke to Riley prior to going asking about the chocolate martinis and she told me that Allisa made really good ones. When we got there to celebrate a girl's day out Riley was there, our waitress Shelly pointed her out so I could go over and introduce myself. Not only did EVERYONE treat us like we had been going there for years and were family, but Alissa made REALLY GREAT DRINKS and the FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. My sister had a couple cosmos, and my other friend and I had the chocolate martinis which were WONDERFUL!!! We had chicken tacos, fries and the Burbon pork belly bites were SOOOO GOOD you would want to slap anyone who tried to grab any. This was truly a good time and although it was busy, loud and was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN because everyone was fabulous. I will look forward to going back next time I'm in Connecticut.“

“Went to pub 67 last night to watch Nashville drive I have to say this is now my favorite place to watch a band, such a great atmosphere. We had 9 people in our group our server was RJ the food drinks and service were top notch! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection soft roll and the Cajun tator tots oh my!! Definitely recommend you stop in and give it a shot! We will be back. She was friendly, funny and gave good recommendations regarding the menu. Ended up having friends show up and none of us were without service when it was needed. She was always there with a smile! “Sat at the bar ordered my food to go. Everything was delicious until about half way done and I FOUND A HAIR IN MY FOOD. Then I call and explain what happened they told me they could NOT do anything to fix the situation. This establishment is dirty and unsanitary. DO NOT EAT HERE“

“Mory's has great food. I can't get enough of the moule frites. Mussels topped with French fries and this amazing mustard sauce. It'll make you want to lick the plate. But please don't. Caesar salad is also a huge portion and can be topped with an add-on of chicken, salmon and even tofu. There are vegetarian options as well.“

“I have visited Moxie's for breakfast in East Haven CT. Different days and times of the week and I never leave disappointed. Nor the company I am with. The service is great. The staff is friendly, reasonable prices. A variety in their menu selections. The atmosphere is small but peaceful. It's a lovely atmosphere. I am a satisfied customer.“

We enjoyed soup & salad / braised short ribs. Our waiter was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Prices - higher than I’d like but not out of line with similar establishments. Background music was appropriate for a relaxed, upscale dining experience – it wasn’t so loud that we had to shout over it to be heard (maybe this was one of the best features of our evening).“

“Cozy atmosphere, really extensive wine list and comprehensive tasting notes. I love to do a wine flight (3 2 oz. glasses) and do a blind tasting with a partner, then try to match them to the wine based off of the tasting notes. We also tried the chocolate lava cake, which was decent and a good pairing with the drinks. Service was attentive and excellent. A wonderful experience overall, and an underrated gem in the neighborhood.“

Their roasted pork mofongo is brings back so many beautiful memories !!! The guava juice was mouth watering and the seafood mofongo was also very very delicious!!! Highly recommend this spot!! “Was in the area with my buddy for a concert nearby that we traveled almost 4 hours for and we decided to try this place out since it was on the way to the venue. The exterior and appearance of the restaurant looked clean and neat. As we walked in the door we noticed Whiskey, Burbon, and Rye Specials on the screens noted with the states they are from (Bonus points for having some Vermont brands listed). We were greeted and seated by our waitress (i apologize i forgot her name) and she was absolutely wonderful! Very attentive to her tables, and friendly as well. Once the food arrived i was even more impressed. i got the 3 mini cheeseburgers and fries with a soda which came to about 20 bucks. Heres the thing, normally i would dread paying that much for a meal especially if its from Applebees, Chilis, etc where the chef is basically a microwave. however, from what i could tell these burgers seem like handmade fresh beef patties and they were flavorful as well. the buns were perfect and fresh as well. I was not able to finish my meal due to having a late lunch earlier in the day which saddened me because of how good my meal at Plan B was. I know theres a very slim chance of it happening but i would definately be in favor of a Vermont Location if you were to ever expand. 5 stars, absolutely no complaints“
