New American Restaurants near West Haven, CT

“Went there last Saturday, August 3rd at 12:30 pm and had the best time ever. I spoke to Riley prior to going asking about the chocolate martinis and she told me that Allisa made really good ones. When we got there to celebrate a girl's day out Riley was there, our waitress Shelly pointed her out so I could go over and introduce myself. Not only did EVERYONE treat us like we had been going there for years and were family, but Alissa made REALLY GREAT DRINKS and the FOOD WAS FANTASTIC. My sister had a couple cosmos, and my other friend and I had the chocolate martinis which were WONDERFUL!!! We had chicken tacos, fries and the Burbon pork belly bites were SOOOO GOOD you would want to slap anyone who tried to grab any. This was truly a good time and although it was busy, loud and was SOOOOOO MUCH FUN because everyone was fabulous. I will look forward to going back next time I'm in Connecticut.“

“Dangle's is a black-owned business in well established downtown. The restaurant is nice and quaint giving you the feels of being connected to the owner and staff. The food was delicious - delivered hot and fresh. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It behooves anyone reading this to try this place out. You won't be disappointed.“

“Went to pub 67 last night to watch Nashville drive I have to say this is now my favorite place to watch a band, such a great atmosphere. We had 9 people in our group our server was RJ the food drinks and service were top notch! One of the best burgers I have had in a long time, cooked to perfection soft roll and the Cajun tator tots oh my!! Definitely recommend you stop in and give it a shot! We will be back. “Love the new make over. The service and food are great!! However the noise level is so uncomfortable and the was not a full seating. So bad that the hostess had to go outside when answering the calls. Highly recommend sound proofing panels.“

“Best fish and chips I've had in a long time. Huge portion (even for the 1 piece portion size). Thin, perfectly crispy breading, firm, flaky fish. Old bay seasoning was a nice touch. The food for our party came out maybe 10-15 minutes after ordering. The server was attentive.“

She was friendly, funny and gave good recommendations regarding the menu. Ended up having friends show up and none of us were without service when it was needed. She was always there with a smile! “I have visited Moxie's for breakfast in East Haven CT. Different days and times of the week and I never leave disappointed. Nor the company I am with. The service is great. The staff is friendly, reasonable prices. A variety in their menu selections. The atmosphere is small but peaceful. It's a lovely atmosphere. I am a satisfied customer.“

“Mory's has great food. I can't get enough of the moule frites. Mussels topped with French fries and this amazing mustard sauce. It'll make you want to lick the plate. But please don't. Caesar salad is also a huge portion and can be topped with an add-on of chicken, salmon and even tofu. There are vegetarian options as well.“

“Small but well appointed seating area with great views of the city; carefully chosen menu selections – not an overwhelming number of options, but nice variety. Servings were ample and well prepared. We enjoyed soup & salad / braised short ribs. Our waiter was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Prices - higher than I’d like but not out of line with similar establishments. Background music was appropriate for a relaxed, upscale dining experience – it wasn’t so loud that we had to shout over it to be heard (maybe this was one of the best features of our evening).“
