“What a great meal! Came here because we were on the way to get donuts at Brooklyn Baking Co and missed their breakfast timing - so glad we did! Had the Irish Benny - AMAZING corned beef hash, perfect eggs and sauce!!! Fluffy pancakes too and my boyfriend enjoyed the waffles - "real syrup and fresh, fresh fruit!" “This place is a hidden gem. Mom and I went for a late breakfast today. We were seated immediately and had a great table near the window with plenty of sunshine on this cold day. Our server Christopher was the BEST! We ordered the 2 special French toast dishes, one with pineapple and coconut and the the other with berries and cream. We also got bacon on the side. The food was AWESOME! Best bacon we’ve had out ever! Our French toast was so fresh and delicious and the coffee was amazing as well. All the staff was by to see if we wanted more coffee or water, they were wonderful. We will definitely be back again and this cafe gets 5 stars in our book! Run, don’t walk to this great little cafe! “I was in the area and Yelp-searched "coffee" and "current location". I saw a bookmark for Quinn Coffee. I must have seen one of my friends post about it on Yelp or IG since I live 35 minutes away. I visited about an hour before their early afternoon closing on a Sunday. Quinn is a small shop, but there were two friends enjoying themselves at one of the tables when I walked in. I ordered a black iced coffee, but they only seem to have cold brew. I saw bags of Giv coffee for sale and my coffee tasted similar to some other darker roast Giv's I've had. It's not my favorite taste profile for cold coffee, but it was well executed for what it was . Smooth and dark. In any event, I like Giv and that's a good choice for a roaster in my book. Like many cold brews versus iced coffees, it was priced higher than I often pay for my preferred iced coffee near home. I think that's one of the reasons why places only serve cold brew. People are conditioned to think that cold brew should cost more than iced coffee. When I was at Quinn, I didn't make the observation that it was nice inside. But later, when I looked at my pics, I did notice a number of aesthetically pleasing elements. The wood floors. The cool tiled ceiling. Interesting seating. In retrospect, I think the reason the shop didn't pop for me style-wise, was because there was a lot of unused floor space. It made the room seem less inviting. Service was fine. There was no line and I received my coffee fairly quickly after I ordered. No employee was visible when I entered, which I get since it was late in the day. Four Stars. I wouldn't drive out of my way to go to Quinn, but I would return if I was in the general area.“

“I've been here a few times to grab croissants but it was our first time dining it and it was delicious! Very cozy and you can tell they have a lot of regular customers. The eggs benedict was amazing and their homemade biscuit was great. My husband got the chicken and waffles special and he loved it. We will definitely be coming back!“

“What refreshing little neighborhood cafe! It's nothing fancy and exactly what you want a free morning close to home. I didn't delve into the menu but trusted a friend who goes often and I wasn't disappointed! We shared the breakfast charcuterie board featuring Pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, Italian smoked sausage, cheese, tater tots and fried eggs. Add a couple of Americanos and we were set for a couple hours of great food and conversation. Have it there or get something to go and you'll get your day started right.“

“I work nearby and I’m not sure why it took me so long to check this place out. First off, their coffee/lattes are fantastic, some of, if not the best I’ve had in the city. They have many flavors and their specialty lattes are all very good. The food is also fantastic. Fresh and reasonably priced. I’m not sure if they bake their bread in house but it’s very soft and delicious, it tastes freshly baked. I haven’t had any of their bakery items yet but I imagine they’re also great. I highly recommend this place for coffee/breakfast. It’s roomy with enough seats to relax and get some work done if you need a place to sit too. The staff is very friendly as well. A nice little downtown gem.“

“I am so glad that Yellow King went in at The Bristol Bazaar. I host Paint Nights at the Bristol Bazaar and now that Yellow King is attached, I can send my painters over to grab something tasty. “Aroma Joe’s has become one of my go-to places for coffee, breakfast and snacks. They have an excellent and friendly staff that gets your order ready quick. A few items that I’d recommend are the sausage biscuit sandwich, cinnamon roll, cheese and feta pretzel, their chorizo sandwich, donuts, and an americano. I will return to Joe’s soon!“

“I had to take care of some things at the post office down town. I stumbled along this place by accident. Mind you I moved here from NYC 6 years ago. I'm very spoiled growing up and eating NYC pizza most of my life. Since my years here, I have tried many pizza shops claiming to have NYC pizza. It's just a big joke! I even challenge them. Anyway, this place is legit NYC pizza in not just Waterbury but the whole New Haven county. Huge delicious pizza that don't break and crumble when you fold them. They are hand tossed and not put in to like cake backing pans. Where it comes out all soggy! The mozzarella is white and gooey and not burnt orange. They are from NYC the owners and can tell they brought up their recipes with them! It's family owned and ran. The Family is so delightful. My absolute go to! Hands down best pizza in these part of the state.“

“It was my first time going to the Coffee Shoppe, I had the veggie omelette which came with a choice of cheese and toast, home fries, and unlimited coffee. The omelette was great, and the home fries weren't bad, they were just slightly over cooked. The other person I was with had the bacon cheeseburger and they said it was perfect, cooked just right and good size. We dined-in, the staff were very friendly and took care of us with no issues. Although, the establishment is on the smaller side, so fitting a larger group might be a problem. But, overall if you're looking for a well made, relatively cheap, quick bite to eat for breakfast or lunch then the Coffee Shoppe is definitely worth trying.“

“This was my favorite study spot in college, now I come here to read before my appointments in Waterbury. I love their specialty drinks, I usually pick a drink from their seasonal favorites when I'm here. They also have a really good chicken sandwich that I'll get if I'm here around lunch time. Staff is always so nice and quick. I feel comfortable hanging out here. The only issue was I noticed a lot of their seating has the pleather torn apart so badly you can't sit on it comfortably. The benefit of this place was their comfy chairs, so hopefully they get those replaced soon!“

“I love it! Finally a drive thru Starbucks in Torrington! The baristas work so hard to get every order out quickly and accurately and my drinks are always great! The cafe is big, comfortable and beautiful! Most of the employees are pretty new since it's a brand new store but you can tell they are trying so hard!“

“First Dunkin I have been to where they have kiosks to order your items. It was so easy to navigate and I didn't have to interact with anyone. The server made the coffees and put them on the counter for us. There were several tables inside to sit at & since I was on a date we decided to hang out inside Dunkin for a bit. “Yesterday on 01/04 I walked in around 630am for a couple sandwich’s and oj. The place was very busy in drive thru and some people waiting for their purchases in the lobby. This woman and daughter was at the counter all upset bc she had to go to work. Another lady walked in and asked the girl in the photo below how much longer is it going to take it’s been 15 mins already. (Family member)The tone and the expletive words that came out of her mouth was very impolite. So I yelled great job staff you guys are doing the best you can. So the lady left without her food. Today 01/05 I walk in and here is the same lady with her daughter asking them for free food bc she left yesterday bc she had to go to work and continued to say I was the one that made her leave and bc the food took some time! I literally laughed and couldn’t believe this woman literally blamed a total stranger that applauded the staff as to why she left. Her and her daughter began to yell at me, curse, and threaten me. It’s all on Dunkin’ Donuts camera and I can play a video on my phone about how nasty these individuals were but it’s very embarrassing. I called corporate, filed a police report as well. Nasty people don’t need to hurt in any way people trying their best to service you!“
