“Every holiday I place my fish order here. Always fresh, always easy pick-up. This year I somehow ordered the pre-cooked octopus instead of cooking it myself. My very particular family members said it was the best they've ever had, at home or in a restaurant. The highest praise! I would definitely recommend Greenwich Fish. Co. “Kotobuki is an authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent food and service. The head chef is the owner -- Masanori Sato, who goes informally by the moniker "Masa." Masa is always busy, behind the such bar, creating his excellent delicacies. My favorite is the sushi and sushi rolls -- always fresh and delicious. In addition to the traditional rolls, there are some wonderful in-house creations such as the Spicy Betty Roll, Lobster Roll (my wife's favorite), and my favorite, the Kevin Roll. The latter, in deference to the national color of Ireland, is spicy tuna wrapped in slices of tuna, fried, and covered with avocado (green, of course). The setting is not overdone, to say the least, but is very basic -- a variety of wooden tables surrounded by walls enhanced with various pieces of art appropriate to the cuisine and culture. The tables are separated by cloth partitions highlighting Japanese scenery. The table service is excellent, the staff is very accommodating, and shout-outs are certainly appropriate for Mr. Sato's wife (head waitress) and Jenny (one of the welcoming waitresses). Moreover, the dining room is very quiet, conducive to conversing with cohorts without the need to raise one's voice. It should be mentioned that Kotobuki remained open during the pandemic, serving both take-out meals AND in-house specialties.“

I don’t eat it.\nWe arrived and she was definitely happy as this restaurant is the location of the former BOODLES, an old favorite of hers.\nWe walked in and were greeted warmly by everyone and taken to a table.\nOur server Paul came up, chatted, took our drink orders and brought water.\nWe ordered an appetizer to share on his recommendation something with pork in it, fried and very tasty.\nMy wife loves General Tsao Chicken and ordered that. I ordered a dish with filet mignon. Both dishes came with good portion sizes and a nice presentation. More importantly my wife said her chicken was delicious. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly rare as ordered and very tasty.\nMy wife told our server Paul we were coming back soon. He was terrific and immediately said great see you Wednesday!\nThe restaurant has a nice ambiance. Prices are reasonable for Greenwich.“

Henry seems to get a lot of reviews complaining about his service, calling him aggressive or rude. This is simply not the case- it is a difference in culture and dialect that is misinterpreted. Henry know every regular he has and treats them like friends! If you expect someone to wait on you hand and foot... this is not the spot. If you want high quality, well priced, sushi then Little Tokyo is the place to go.“

All staff are very friendly, and the delivery is fast and correct. They have great lunch specials with rolls, but I've had dinner there before, too which is just as good. Hibachi-seafood(though I had it served to the regular table)-was delicious and a quality portion, but the sushi is just as good. Their avocado salad is great.“
