“WE had a craving for dessert after dinner and decided to stop here for a fix. Sampled some flavors and decided on Choc therapy, a berry berry extraordinary sorbet, and coffee buz buz. Very quiet for a Saturday night, had the whole place to ourselves. We all enjoyed ourselves and were satisfied with our picks. Nice after dinner treat.Okay, berry berry extraordinary is thee yummiest sorbet non dairy dessert I've had yet. It made me come back. There aren't many non chocolate or non nut options, which made me choose Sorbet. I'm glad I did!“

“Lovely night celebrating a birthday! Attentive server and waitstaff. Wonderful water views. Apps - fresh shucked clams tasty salads. Main dishes delicious -nice presentation. Try the Coleman chicken -it's was tops. Fish specials are always special. Desserts choices are abundant. This is great local restaurant on the Connecticut river. “Cloud Nine Catering catered our wedding at The Lace Factory on July 13, 2023. Let's put it this way... if I could eat their food everyday, I would. Their appetizers, main courses, and cake/cupcakes/cannolis were to die for. My guests are still talking about how amazing the food was weeks after our wedding. If you're looking for food that doesn't have that typical taste or look that it was made in bulk... go here! Nothing is worse when you're at an event and it tastes like "banquet hall food". How many people actually say they're excited to eat their leftovers after their wedding?!Also, when we attended our tasting prior to the wedding, the experience they provided was above and beyond. It was so intimate and special and we truly felt valued and heard. The chefs, staff, and overall quality is top notch. My post wedding blues are mainly because I already miss the Cloud Nine staff, especially Christine! Don't judge until you've worked with them!!Christine Dickerson truly goes above and beyond in all aspects of her job. She has an answer for every question (even the silly ones) and she responds to emails within the same day, if not within a couple hours. Her expertise made wedding planning a breeze and her calming presence helped immensely at my wedding. I feel fortunate to have had her a part of my wedding day, and planning experience.Highly HIGHLY recommend!!“

“We took advantage of the Tea Kettle's location right across the road from our motel. And we weren't disappointed. Cute decor with lots of teapots and tea cups. Plenty of seating, some counter, mostly tables. Greeted and seated right away. The breakfast menu is extensive...and interesting! Speciality pancakes. Healthy pancakes. Breakfast sliders. Eggs pretty much anyway you might want. Southern comfort breakfast items. We chose simple dishes...scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage for me...western omelet for him. Food was cooked to order....and delicious. Attentive friendly service.“

“Our wedding over Memorial Day Weekend at The Lace Factory was all we ever dreamed (and more)! Venue: The actual venue is STUNNING and SO UNIQUE, especially for the New England area! We toured almost a dozen venues and did not find one that had the vintage & ornate touches that The Lace Factory did. Furthermore, they have 2 great outdoor areas: one which has a beautiful garden and is used for ceremonies and cocktail hours, and a second in the front which has views of the Connecticut River. The inside is so charming, and they have beautiful decorations in their Decor Book to choose from. But they also allow & encourage each couple to make the space personal by using the shelves and tables they provide for frames, guest books, memorial tables, etc. Since the space is so large and flexible, we were able to have a Photo Booth, couch seating area, kids play area, AND a large Dance Floor. And to top it all off, The Lace Factory is one of the few we found that allows for "sparkler send-offs" which was a blast for everyone. Planning: We did a 1 year engagement and from the start it was a very easy process working with the staff. 11 months prior, we were given a very detailed tour and all of our questions were answered, so we secured our date over email with ease. Although we were planning from out of state, they were in constant communication with us, ensuring we completed all steps within our timeline. Anytime we had a question, they responded to an email within 24 hours or a phone call immediately. Additionally, they have a great reputation with various vendors and took care of contacting the vendors to provide them logistics for the big day (which was a huge weight off our shoulders)! Food/Drink: All of the food is fantastic! They have an extensive menu that can be served plated or buffet. We chose plated (and highly recommend the roasted statler chicken)! We were also in awe at the cake they designed for us that perfectly matched the example photo we provided (and tasted great)! They have many fun add-on options, such as a Donut Bar which was a huge hit with our guests. The drinks were great and the package included a Signature Cocktail which was fun to create with them. The Lace Factory truly created the BEST day of our lives and we are forever grateful!“
