“My husband surprised me with a dinner gathering at Red Lotus. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by two staff members and the owner Larry. Gary was our server who I must say was by far the best server we have ever had. Gary and Larry truly made us feel like we were the only ones there (they had a full house) the food was delicious we were a party of 8 and all had different plates none of us were disappointed with our food. The presentation of the plates were beautiful! Larry made sure to come to our table and assure we were satisfied with our food and service took time out to talk with us and build a relationship. “I ordered tea online on a whim, and wow, am I impressed! I live in central Massachusetts but I will most definitely take a drive down to Connecticut to see the cafe in person. The teas are divine, and the chocolate is out of this world. I could tell that it was packaged with love and care, could literally feel the good vibes oozing out of the box into the air. I already signed up for the tea journey subscription box and will likely be a lifelong customer. If you are looking for high quality tea, you’re in the right place!“

“I discovered this store when I was High School, around 1977. Graduated 1978 from Wibur Cross. They were on Edgewood Avenue and Platt Street. Then they moved to Whalley Avenue. I still tell people about this store. Always love it. 🥰“

“I had to review on Facebook because I already posted a Google review. I am obsessed with this place and the staff and the food. I came two nights in a row for my birthday (one night with family and the other night with friends). My waitresses were Mia and Jade. They were sensational!!! Mia was amazing and remembered I ordered the chocolate dipped strawberries for the next evening and made sure to have them prepared and ready to go. Jade went above and beyond for my birthday bringing me beautifully decorated plates. They made my birthday weekend so special!! I miss the Darien location in the sense that it wasn’t this easily accessible haha. They will get tired of seeing my face (especially at happy hour!)“

“I love the steaks here. Always cooked perfectly. I also love the fish. The salmon is delicious and so is the shrimp. Seasoned beautifully. I’m a big fan of the Fire Grilled Corn on the Cob. It’s big and kind of like Mexican Street Corn but not overly spicy. My husband orders it with just butter & loves it too. I have not had a burger here yet but it’s my husband’s favorite burger in the area. Always cooked perfectly and huge (1/2 lb!). We are repeat customers and have never been disappointed.“

“I first saw Moon Rocks Gourmet Cookies at a craft show at the High Plains Community Center. I tried a sampler of six (out of the eight available) flavors: • Traditional chocolate chip • Salted caramel • S'mores • Cannoli • Blueberry lemon • Orange creamsicle The other flavors were oatmeal raisin walnut and peanut butter chocolate chip. The six flavors I had were absolutely amazing. The cookies were light and flavorful, absolutely delicious. They make gift baskets too, so you can share the goodness. Highly recommended.“

“The food was 🔥- so delicious and high quality. The vegetables were delightful. The steak was tender and cooked perfect. The chicken was also very delicious. I like how you can pick one or two proteins to mix it up. We also got the chicken egg rolls and they were so good, not too oily. Also, came with really good sauces, like Sriracha chilli sauce and extra teriyaki sauce. You can sign in and earn points.
Definitely cost effective and if you are trying to eat healthy you can remove the rice; which I appreciate. 💯 out of 10 we would eat here again! 😋“
