“Hardworking Family..giving you the best of a very hard menu to produce (I cook)...make sure you double check your condiments..no worries...we get they expensive...BEST Asian food in these parts....give them a try!!!Vegetarian options: They got any veggie option...its Chinese!! : )“
“Joyful has the best Chinese food in the Plainfield area, wicked bummer that they NEVER plan to open the dinning room to allow guests to sit inside for a dine in experience. I will always come for take out — but it’s just the owners that don’t want to pay staff to work when they can make all their money in take out and pay the rent.“
“I will say I've been going here since about 2022. By far very good. And I've had Chinese before elsewhere and the crab rangoon here is perfect. It's not that puff pastry stuff that's flaky and falls apart. it's good. Some places usually have it salty this is not the case. Very fresh hot food. I've had the beef broccoli and the chicken with vegetables myself. Awesome. The family is nice. If there's any bad reviews they just Karen's that go out and wreck everything.. do not listen to them.“
“The vegetable sushi is fantastic! I can't comment on any other food. We used to enjoy dining in- the staff was pleasant and service good. We really wish they would open up for dining in again. The pick up is wasteful of plastic and there is next to no place to wait if your order isn't ready.“
“Good food is becoming so hard to find lately. But this little gem serves the BEST Chinese food hands down ? Not only is everything they serve 100% made from scratch and consistently so delicious but the service definitely matches the incredible food! Davie, the owner, is the sweetest. His customer service is top tier ⭐️He never forgets your face and always takes a min to stop & talk to you, ask about your day & make you smile. Thanks Davie for all the great food & the hospitality to match!!“
“The server/owner was friendly and helpful. The food- General Tso chicken and Black Dragon chicken were our dinner entrees. Both entrees were hot and fresh. Black dragon meal had a little too much vinegar but was still fine. The owner was very kind and even brought us complimentary crab rangoon to try and they were very good. The egg roll was also good and fresh. We were the only patrons in the restaurant. The eating area had some flies that grossed us out and we had to shoo away from our food, until we eventually left. We also went to this restaurant for a to-go order of steamed chicken & vegetables and a quart of chicken noodle soup. The chicken & vegetables were great with the sauce on the side- especially when traveling and health conscience. The soup was okay- it was packed with udon noodles (didn't look like the menu photo at all) and did not have a lot of chicken in it. The owners are very nice and I like to support local, independent businesses, where the owners care about whether you return and want to make your visit enjoyable. When in town, I will return for a to-go order. * A couple of suggestions to owners: make sure to have bug catchers installed and away from patrons and remove the big storage cardboard boxes from the dining room. Patrons want a pleasant environment while dining.“

“This is the kind of hole in the wall Chinese place that makes you wonder why is it so hard to make good Chinese food? Sesame chicken was delicious, yes it’s light and dark meat but I didn’t run into any gristle or bad pieces. The beef lo mein and pork fried rice were right on point. I’ve been to so many bad Chinese places I just had to give this one five stars.“
“I've been picking up doordashes here for about a year and the food always smelt phenomenal. After finally getting the food myself I can say I'm not disappointed. Perfect portions for the price, and delicious food. No 1. Kitchen is a must have“
“Considering what I ordered it was all pretty good but the house lo mein was outstanding I thought and the prices were good. For instance I got a large burrito at Moe's southwestern grill and soda was 16 and change. I think the house lo mein is like half that and you get more.“
“Its really just takeout. There are 2 small tables if it's only 1 or 2 people. But we do take outDietary restrictions: If you have allergies, peanut or shrimp, tell them ahead.Parking: It's in a parking lot with a few other businesses“
“Best place in Connecticut ever I would live here if I could best food on earth literally my life I’m reading these reviews seeing people talking bad and I can get having a bad experience but I have not had a single complaint in my YEARS of ordering from here these guys are the best and I’m getting some tonight!!!!! Keep up the AMAZING work you wonderful people.Kid-friendliness: When I went here as a kid they gave me chopstick trainers for free“
