“I’m a frequent guest at the Chopt in Bishop’s Corner, and it has become one of those places that is genuinely worth the drive from Southington. I brought my mom there recently for her first visit, and she was more than satisfied too.

The restaurant is consistently clean, including the restrooms, and I have never had trouble finding a place to sit. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and they keep the line moving without making the whole thing feel rushed. Online orders have also been ready promptly in my experience. If you are new to Chopt or not quite sure how the ordering process works, the staff is happy to walk you through it or explain the different options without making you feel like you should already know what you’re doing.

The salads are huge, the food is consistently good, and it is a healthier option than most places in the fast-casual category. This is coming from someone who never really understood the point of salad, let alone salad as an actual meal. Chopt changed that for me.

The drink selection is another plus. Instead of the usual wall of sodas, they offer iced teas, lemonades, and other drinks that tend to be on the lighter side, often with some less-common flavors. My personal favorite is the Strawberry Squeeze Chiller.

My mom enjoyed her first visit. Chopt has become a regular stop for me because the food is dependable, the portions are substantial, the place is clean, and the service is consistently pleasant and efficient.“

They switched to new gloves without asking and when they accidentally touched regular bread they made a whole new panini without even asking. They also wrap the panini in tin foil before pressing. The gyro meat was okay (could have been hotter) but the vegetables added tasted like they had been sitting in a bowl together, waiting. A gyro that had been able to make my sister's eyes roll back in her head at the first bite, was now "Okay.," However the hummus was outstanding and I will be stopping in to pick up more when I pass by.

Infinitely higher quality than chipotle at a similar cost. Of note, my burrito was a little on the liquidy side, which made it slightly messy. However, if nothing changed I would get the same thing again in a heartbeat. Will be returning soon.“

“Ordered the chicken parm. The owner was very busy but very nice and thanked me for being so understanding and patient. The chicken parm dinner itself is a fantastic portion size for the price. I was going to get a garlic bread and the owner told me not to because the chicken parm already comes with it. He could have just let me order it and made extra money but instead he wanted to save me money. Definitely will come back here again when I’m in the area.“

“My wife and I stumbled upon this restaurant after being very disappointed with an experience ordering margaritas at a nearby restaurant. The first thing we noticed was the lively and fun atmosphere. We sat at the bar and had a couple of perfectly made cocktails. We liked the music and when looking around we saw everyone enjoying themselves. Then we saw the staff getting pulled together and getting instruments and drums, not knowing what was coming next, and then witness the most amazing happy birthday celebration at the table behind us. We’ve been lucky to see this each time we’ve visited. The food plating is very impressive, and so far, the best meal I’ve hade there is the seafood paella which can feed 3-4 people. This is a fun spot whether I’m you are celebrating a big event or even just stopping in for a drink.“

“I hadn't been back in about 3 years to the Northeast so one of the first things I did was get me a good sandwich. I got the Godfather on the everything bread. I highly recommend you get the pesto aioli with it it's a game changer over the mayonnaise. Sandwich was absolutely delicious and I'll definitely get it one more time before I go back home!“
