“We often pop by the shop to pick up breakfast sandwiches on our way to the office. Recently, we asked Tommy & Marie to help us provide light food options for our art studio's Grand Opening last week. They recommended their stuffed breads (stromboli). We ordered the Italian Combo stromboli, Broccoli Rabe and cheese stromboli, potato salad, and a roasted vegetable and penne salad. The food was a hit!! The breads were such a wonderful idea and EVERYONE asked where we ordered it from. Thanks Tommy’s Place & Market for working with us and helping to make our community debut a success! We hope you'll come visit us soon!“

This place has been around almost 45 years.....and they never miss a beat. Come here try your favorite sub or side I bet it will be your new favorite place for a grinder“

I do catch pops George in there from time to time but Tony and Mama are on their A game all the time. there is another guy who works with them also but I don't know his name but all super friendly. “I love the people who work here they are all really nice. They make really good sandwiches on sub rolls? with a free can of soda with it for like $7, and that's with basically whatever you want on it. You want turkey, ?, , ?, ?️, ?, mayo, mustard, and pepper, and whatever else you want on it like extra cheese or extra whatever too I'm pretty sure it stays $7 because me and my bf get extra stuff all the time and we don't get charged more.“

I went to my car and opened both containers and the fresh fruit salad had gone bad. I took it in and the team was absolutely excellent at exchanging it. They smelled the salad and agreed with me something unfortunately went bad in the salad. They exchanged it out for something different and I went about my day. 10/10 recommend. They have awesome customer service and they were super apologetic!“

“We're traveling through CT on our way home and stopped into the Meriden location for a late lunch. We were warmly greeted by both front of house guys, got a fun bell ring and a "Gratzie!" for our 20% tip. Our veggie sandwich was delicious, great bread, and the perfect amount of dressing. Our chicken caesar was fresh and tasty. Used the bathroom before we left and it was very clean and smelled nice! If we were local we'd be there all the time.“
