“Great little hidden spot. Almost didn’t go because the gps want exact. I thought I was going up someone’s driveway. Food was great. Service was good, but it was pretty empty at the time we went. Definitely will go back next time I’m in the area.“

“It was my wife and my 37th anniversary. My wife loves butternut squash ravioli so I searched and searched for restaurants that had it on their menu. I finally found Blackberry River Bisto listed it as a special back in September so I wrote to see if it was going to be offered again. I didn't really expect to hear back, but Audry respond and offered to make them for us on our visit to the area. The atmosphere was simple elegant, and wonderful, the staff was so kind and courteous and the food was absolutely excellent! My wife was thrilled, I was the hero, but all the credit goes to Audry and her husband, they truly made our special day even more memorable. Thank you!!“

“Met a girlfriend for a quick Christmas breakfast…That lasted 2.5 hrs. This deli was suggested by my husband for a great breakfast and nice relaxing atmosphere. We were greeted with smiles from staff and other customers. Placed our orders, grabbed fresh brewed coffee and awaited yummy French Toast, perfect cooked bacon, veggie & ham omelet, & potatoes cooked just right. “My friend and I grabbed a lunch here after a long hike at the nearby Overmountain Conservation Area. We both got Burritos Al Pastor and they were wonderfully delicious and made pretty quickly. Pork, pineapple, spiced rice and beans, mmmmm! Off the beaten path but well worth the drive. Awesome selection of drinks, although I stuck with Diet Coke and water. Staff checked with us frequently to be sure everything was ok.“
