“I highly recommend Mario’s! Over the weekend we hosted a birthday party at a park near by the restaurant. We enjoyed delicious pizza & and antipasto from Mario’s. They were extremely friendly & helpful through the whole process from helping with ordering answering a million questions lol to the day of with delivery right to the party! All the hostess’s, the delivery man, & Niko were all exceptional. Not only that but the food was great and at a fair price for the amount we ordered!! Thank you so much for making this an easy great experience so I could focus on enjoying the party!“

“I'm very disappointed. Yesterday, we chose Bond 124 to gather with family after a family members funeral. It was not our first choice, but the other restaurant was closed for vacation. We had remembered attending a grad party at Bond in May that was fabulous, so we thought we would give it a try for lunch. It was about 12:30 p.m. on a Friday. There was one other table occupied and maybe one or two people at the bar. Our waitress was great at first, came right over, brought waters and provided menus. We ordered drinks, which she quickly got confused with, but we thought nothing of it. We placed our order and began our wait. About 20 minutes later, Sam came to the table and asked if we wanted our food orders brought all at once or as they were made because the cheese buger and chicken sandwich ordered was already cooked. We said sure, bring them out as they are made, assuming they would just be a few minutes apart. Nope! First of all, she brought out the cheesebuger and not the chicken sandwich. At least 15 minutes later, the deep dish pizzas ordered came out. At this time, she informed me my soup (which I ordered as my meal) was not available. I asked Sam what soups she did have, and she responded, "I don't know" (Not let me check). When I pushed to know, she huffed off and went to look. Now we had to ask for the chicken sandwich that still hadn't been brought out, at which time she said it was coming soon. We are now at least 30 minutes since the first meal hit the table, and I still didn't have my bowl of soup. Finally, the chicken sandwich came out, and still no soup. When my soup finally came out, everyone else at our table had already finished eating. Due to the sad event that brought us together in the first place, I didn't bother complaining, but to say we will not be back or recommend this restaurant is an understatement. With so few guests, how does this happen. Where was the manager??“

“I believe it was the owner that greeted me, This was my first time into the deli. He told me he thought I would really like it and he was wrong, I LOVED IT! I tried the hot bar. For $9.99 a pound they have an array of fresh made dishes. I tried the lemon chicken, mac n cheese, vegis & roasted potatoes. It was like having an Italian home cooked meal on the fly! I am excited to go back and try other hot bar items and they also have a delightful menu of sandwiches/wraps/salads for lunch! I work in the area and I am glad I stopped in today! “I’ve been coming to Family Pizzeria for years, and even left them a 5-star review over 7 years ago. After a long break since 2020, I finally made it back—and I’m happy to say the place is just as great, if not better, than I remember.

The dining room is clean, cozy, and welcoming with exposed brick, friendly vibes, and plenty of seating. The staff was warm and attentive throughout our visit, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. It was great to see the same sense of family and community I remembered from before.

“I had to call Monson Italian Pizzeria for 3 party pizzas on extremely short notice after a chain grocery store lost power and couldn’t produce what I needed for a party. They took my order (knowing they had other big orders to fill) and produced three huge party pizzas for us in about 40 minutes. Great customer service on the phone, he didn’t even hesitate to say he could get it done. Everyone agreed the pizza was delicious!!“

“Took a trip to DiFiore Ravioli shop in Ellington, CT. They make 15 varieties of homemade Ravioli, sauces, oils, amazing desserts, and more. We picked up the TENDERLOIN & BACON ravioli, and the SHRIMP & ROASTED GARLIC ravioli. They were out of the lobster ravioli, but we picked up the homemade Tiramasu. “Having spent many trips in Boston going to Bova's Pastries, I was unsure I'd find a place that could rival its pastries, but WOW did La Fiorentina throw some heavy competition. I ordered a couple random pastries, all of which were beyond amazing, and the chocolate layer cake was just HEAVEN. I really like the unique and authentic selection of pastas they have here for sale as well. I left with a squid based pasta that I'm very eager to try.“

“In short: an authentic, deliciously comforting, gourmet dining experience downsized to take out only.
Order times are on the longer side, usually they say 40 minutes, but I'm more than ok waiting, it's well worth it. You can tell it's made fresh and with quality ingredients. They are very consitent in quality, portions, and good service. I have never had an issue with an order or had to wait for service. The snug parking issue is forgotten as soon as you walk into an always clean and welcoming place that keeps your food warm for you in case you're running a bit late. The prices are higher than your average pizza place but Typical Sicilian is far from average. My wife and I have been tasting our way thru the menu and there is no disappointment in sight. Everything, from the positive anticipation after opening the containers, to that first bite that gives you that deeply satisfying "mmmmm", is just a pleasant experience every time. I have added some pictures of a few dishes we have tried, to be clear, some are so good that my wife dug in faster than I could get the camera. My wife loves the Chicken Francaise here.
I recommend you check the specials regularly, I appreciate that they actually update this unlike a lot of places. Just last night I was a little sad they didn't have the Penne vodka with chicken and prosciutto anymore, but quickly got excited to see the stuffed pork chop that I immediately decided on and it was GOOOOOD!! The maple bourbon cream is amazing and I saved the leftover sauce for a chicken and waffle breakfast I made this morning...I might need to ask if I can buy a bottle of just the sauce! Speaking of sauces, the Typical sauce is perfect for pasta, it's creamy but not too heavy, much better than any alfredo sauce I've had. I personally love tortellini and maybe some day I'll find a tortellini dish in the specials (besides the soup I hear is very good and will be trying).
The flavor palette of the menu covers hearty pasta, wood fire pizza, Mediterranean type salads and apps, and also covers your meaty dinner cravings.
