“Was Working in town and decided to stop by as I’ve heard great things about UConn Diary Bar. There were commencements going on so lines were a little long but worth the wait. I got a medium 3 scoop black raspberry which was fresh and delicious. Definitely would go back again.”

“I can not begin to describe the amazing experience we just had at this place. we went for brunch today. the three of us decided to try the bloody specials they had.. all truly unique. one was Italian with meat and cheese. there was a seafood one with ceviche and shrimp cocktail and the last was one with 2 large pork bellies on the side.. amazing!! we ordered 3 different entrees so we could all share. the smoked salmon frittata. wow! smokey..light.. creamy.. so perfect. next were chicken and mushroom crepes. holy crap! unbelievable!! the last was a steak sandwich where the beef just fell apart! outstanding! my friend had asked about a menu item that had been previously on the menu that she loved and they went out of their way to make it for us!! our dessert was a mimosa with purple corn and cinnamon.. unlike anything I have ever had before! A perfect end to an amazing meal! I can't say enough good things about this place! thank you! and I can't wait to come back for dinner!”

“The food at Gallo's is by far the best I've had in the area. They took extra care with our vegetarian quesadillas, creating an off-menu special with mushrooms, onions, and peppers, all freshly cooked and packed into fresh and tender corn tortillas. They will make anything in a veggie version and also do gluten-free. The storefront restaurant is modest but has a warm feeling. Gallo's has the feel of a community favorite and the food is made with love. Can't recommend this gem enough!”

“Stopped by quick in the AM before taking my dog to the local dog park. I had such a great encounter with the counter lady (possibly sweet momma). She made me a delicious breakfast sandwich and even threw in a couple of pieces of bacon for my pup! I’ll be returning soon for more goodies and for pleasant conversation. If you want to support local business then this is a good choice!”

The Trophy Room in Storrs, CT is hands down one of my favorite spots in town. Whether you’re looking to unwind after a long day or kick off a night out with friends, this place never misses. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, and the drink selection is always on point.

What really sets Trophy Room apart, though, are the bartenders—especially Olivia and Allison. These two are absolute stars behind the bar. They’re not only incredibly skilled at crafting top-notch cocktails, but they also bring such good energy to the place. Friendly, attentive, and always down for a quick chat or a solid recommendation, they make you feel right at home every time.

Olivia and Allison elevate the whole experience, and honestly, they’re a big reason I keep coming back. If you haven’t checked out Trophy Room yet, do yourself a favor and stop by—just be ready to make it your new go-to spot!”

“This spot has the best food in the area. We have been going for several years.everything we have tried has been amazing and the owner and staff are always super friendly. My personal favorite is the vegan bomb and my husband loves the beef shawarma!”

“Got an ultimate green smoothie. It was so good. Was not super sweet which I loved but if you like yours sweet make sure to add some sort of sweetener. The price was reasonable for the quality you get. Everyone was very nice as well. Definitely going back!”

The chef made us goat curry and paneer curry, adjusting the spice levels perfectly to our preference and even suggesting the best dishes to try. “I'm visiting from out of state, and I like to find places to eat that I don't have back home. I love loaded fries, so this was a no-brainer for me. I ordered the taco fries without jalapeños. The service was great, the presentation was gorgeous, and the taste was excellent. The fries themselves, aside from any toppings, are thick-cut, earthy-tasting, legitimate freshly-made from handcut potatoes. The toppings were generous and flavorful, and didn't taste generic or store-bought. 10/10 would recommend, and I hope to eat here again on future visits to the area!”

“We recently found Lee's and have been back 3 times in the last month because it is so good, by far the best Chinese food in the area. We love the crab rangoons, the pork fried rice, boneless pork spare ribs, and the sweet and sour chicken as staples. We've also tried the lo-mein, General Tso chicken, Mongolian beef, Mei Fun, and the fried dumplings. All are very good and we would recommend. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu! I was super impressed by how clean the kitchen which I could see from the counter looked. The portions are large and we eat for several meals on the leftovers. Offers takeout only. Not on major delivery apps like Doordash and Ubereats which is a shame.”

We loved it so much that we went back again the very next night, and if we were staying in town longer I’m sure we’d be back several more times. The food was delicious, prices fair, and portions are generous. What made the whole experience even better was our AMAZING server, Leslie. Give this woman a raise! She’s a powerhouse! ❤️”
