“The food at Gallo's is by far the best I've had in the area. They took extra care with our vegetarian quesadillas, creating an off-menu special with mushrooms, onions, and peppers, all freshly cooked and packed into fresh and tender corn tortillas. They will make anything in a veggie version and also do gluten-free. The storefront restaurant is modest but has a warm feeling. Gallo's has the feel of a community favorite and the food is made with love. Can't recommend this gem enough!”

“Was Working in town and decided to stop by as I’ve heard great things about UConn Diary Bar. There were commencements going on so lines were a little long but worth the wait. I got a medium 3 scoop black raspberry which was fresh and delicious. Definitely would go back again.”

“I can not begin to describe the amazing experience we just had at this place. we went for brunch today. the three of us decided to try the bloody specials they had.. all truly unique. one was Italian with meat and cheese. there was a seafood one with ceviche and shrimp cocktail and the last was one with 2 large pork bellies on the side.. amazing!! we ordered 3 different entrees so we could all share. the smoked salmon frittata. wow! smokey..light.. creamy.. so perfect. next were chicken and mushroom crepes. holy crap! unbelievable!! the last was a steak sandwich where the beef just fell apart! outstanding! my friend had asked about a menu item that had been previously on the menu that she loved and they went out of their way to make it for us!! our dessert was a mimosa with purple corn and cinnamon.. unlike anything I have ever had before! A perfect end to an amazing meal! I can't say enough good things about this place! thank you! and I can't wait to come back for dinner!”

“Let me start by saying we live in Coventry and Kathmandu has delivered hot delicious food to our home time and time again! This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food I've had to date! I have a strong culinary background and highly recommend you put this place on a short list of great food destinations! In the past we've had curry lamb, tomato soup, tom yam soup, lolipop chicken, fried rice, and aloo paratha. Make your way through the whole menu, you won't be disappointed!”

“if you live near UCONN, then you need to check out gansett wraps on storrs roadthe owner khal is originally from lebanon and when he moved to the states, he knew he wanted to share his love for food with the community around himhe originally opened his first wrap shop in narragansett rhode island and now gansett wraps is in a few towns across connecticut and rhode islandfirst timers have to try the gyro falafelits a beef gyro, with housemade falafel, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. the sauce is so savory and falafel which is a blend of chickpeas and spices added so much flavorother wraps can be stuffed with chicken, bacon, veggies and even french frieshome to where the husky womens basketball team gets their lunch, gansett wraps has to be added to your connecticut foodie bucket list❤️”

Recently, I ordered Lamb Biryani, Grilled Fish, Matar Paneer and two types of Naan. I requested a faster preparation as I was expecting guests and they had my order ready in just 20 - 25 minutes—impressive responsiveness and understanding.

The service was great, the presentation was gorgeous, and the taste was excellent. The fries themselves, aside from any toppings, are thick-cut, earthy-tasting, legitimate freshly-made from handcut potatoes. The toppings were generous and flavorful, and didn't taste generic or store-bought. 10/10 would recommend, and I hope to eat here again on future visits to the area!”
