“Tired of the never-ending onslaught of hazy IPAs? Looking for a real wide variety of beers that all have great flavor? This is the place. Maibock, Helles Lager, Pils, Czech Amber, plus more. They even have beers on a side pour (iykyk).
Plus the vibe is chill. The owners and bartenders are super friendly (shout out to Dylan who is the best). The building is historic. And they support the local community with events.
Parking is simple with a lot across the street. They have snacks but you can bring your own food (grab some to go from Parkville). Dog friendly. Kids are welcome but this isn't the kind of place you're going to find a family birthday party for a toddler (thank god).
This is definitely the kind of brewery for beer lovers.“
“Extensive variety of beers, with local sodas and cocktails available. We especially like the Blackberry Berliner Weiss. Good selection of food with tasty burgers, wings, and sandwiches. Service is efficient and the staff are very accommodating.
One tip: food and drinks are ordered separately. All drinks are from the bar. You can order food by scanning the QR code or the menu or ordering at the food counter.“

“I remember this spot more from when Broad Brook Brewery used to be here, however, upon hearing the news of new management taking over in 2025, I felt inclined to give this place a try. I don't live in town anymore, but I was pleasantly surprised by their selection of beer, wine, and hard cider/seltzer, and they have a nice to-go fridge if you don't want to sit at the bar - but what really set this place apart was how friendly and knowledgeable the staff is! They're really eager to grow their business, and in a time where it feels like everything is shrinking away, I appreciate a comfortable place to hang out with a friend or grab a drink for later. I try to stop in every so often when I'm visiting family, it's a nice place!“

“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. This beer is outstanding! it doesn't have that hoppy bite and has a refreshing citrus finish. Put simply? it's delicious. Looking forward to more amazing beers coming!!“

“More like a 3.5, as I can recall what Broad Brook Brewing was prior to selling out. The beer I had was very good, and the bartender served double duty as tender and waiter. He was fantastic.
We had a very nice cauliflower and chicken app that was delicious.
I had a pale ale that I mentioned was great (brewed by BBB) and my wife had a Raspberry Sour, that she enjoyed.
We sat on the deck with a nice summer breeze, the cold beers and watched planes land at Bradley. All good.
I still wish that BBB maintained its independency with a broader brew offering that was once their staple.“

Ivy, the Assistant General Manager, went above and beyond to help with our accommodation request and is truly one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet. Maddy, our server, was excellent, providing attentive and friendly service throughout our visit.
The beer was outstanding, and the food was delicious, and cooked to order. From start to finish, the entire experience was fantastic. I highly recommend Urban Lodge Brewing to anyone looking for great beer, excellent food, and top-notch customer service.“

“first time there, great selection of beer, great prices and fun atmosphere. Only thing I would suggest is put regular croutons on the Caesar salad and not the pretzel ends, they were very hard and seemed stale.“

“I love coming here! I'm not a beer person sooo when they have it I get the hard cider with the sugar on the rim-yum!!! I would give them a 5x buttt they no longer carry the sliders which was the best! My tween even lived getting them and we miss them terribly!!! I love that they are attached to Birdhouse bc then we also grab a coffee/latte.. the vibe is great“
