“Great atmosphere! Came for pre-turkey day trivia which also was a blanket drive-- good cause! We like ciders and sours so did a flight with Sucker Punch'd and Scorpion Bowl being our favorites! Service was fast, friendly and helpful (the keg of scorpion kicking with my pour so they have me another of my choice, which was awesome). Would def stop in again!“
“One of my favorite go-to breweries in New Britain! Have only had good experiences with the service here, everyone's always very friendly and personable! Great spot for big groups, as it's super spacious. Also, dog friendly!! My little guy loves to join me and my friends for a night out, enjoying his own special dog beer! The human beers are great too with a large selection, highly recommend!!“
“Great little place place. Menu is there for all to see. They offer what they brew and some other local companies beverages. Went in a Saturday night for a quick stop to listen to a local duo playing some cover music. Food is not offered but there are local menus in a book that you can order from and have delivered. Or you can just walk a few hundred feet to one of several local restaurants. Great area for a small pub crawl.“
“Picked up lunch today and brought it home. Excellent food! The goobkwr was outstanding and hubby loves the jalapeno popper dog. Also got Mac & cheese and the baked beans which I highly recommend and of course the salty balls. Had to also get the T-shirt too. Best food in the area. Makes me miss summer cookouts and was a nice break for all the holiday craziness and foods.“
“The Buffalo Mac and cheese was amazing! My hubby got a Mac and cheese burger which he said was also amazing. The place was not too crowded and the food came out reasonably quick. The barista was very nice and gave great service. The chicken quesadillas were also so good and were served with sour cream and salsa.“
“My partner and I had 2 different experiences. My pizza was perfect. I had half pepperoni and roasted red peppers and the other half was soppressata. It was cooked perfectly and was quite delicious. Definitely my kind of pizza. My partner's pizza was half pepperoni and half sausage and they burned the mess out of his pepperoni side.So I'm reviewing my pizza only here since that's what I ended up eating primarily.I found the soppressata side of my pizza to be surprisingly good. That was my first time trying soppressata, so I have nothing to compare it to but it was very yummy. My partner also agreed and had a few slices of my pizza that he enjoyed. The pepperoni and red pepper was very good as well.Their crust is on point with just the right amount of crisp on the top and chewy softness on the inside.Overall, I found the service to be friendly and helpful. Also a great place to go if you have a pup with you.I definitely will visit here again.“
“Great place. I’ll have to make it a point to work it into the calendar more. Beer was excellent. 24 different beers on tap I believe. Burger was great - big and delicious and my wife enjoyed her wrap. Bonus points for the King Diamond and Rob Halford photos on the wall. I didn’t get to check out all the prints. Cool spot. We’ll be back.“
“I visited this restaurant last night and I was NOT prepared for how phenomenal the food would be!! I highly recommend the braised short ribs, charcuterie board, and the hazelnut cheesecake. Atmosphere was cozy, service was impeccable. Will definitely be returning and recommending to all my friends and family!“
“My girlfriend and I love trying new restaurants and today was the Hop Haus. I must say from the minute we walked in, we felt happy as the place was warm and friendly. Mary, our bartender, did an excellent job making sure we had everything we needed. I said to myGirlfriend, I guess there really is “something about Mary”. The food was excellent and the drinks were the best. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks for hiring such great people. They truly make the placeSpecial!!“
“Lobster tacos were a fun twist on the lobster roll. They were amazing. We also had the lobster nachos. This place isn't shy about giving you a nice portion of lobster. You'll have to forgive the missing taco as I shoved it in my face before thinking to take a “
“My friend and I went here on a Sunday afternoon, hoping to watch a Patriots loss, which did indeed happen. This is basically a roadside dive pub. We started with the big pretzel, which was coated in too much butter. And the dipping sauces were standard movie theater nacho cheese sauce and a grainy honey dijon dressing. I just opted for the pretzel by itself. I had the namesake burger that was really good, with applewood smoked bacon, jalapeño, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and onion frizzles. Excellent combo of spicy, crunchy, salty. Great burger. Also a very good variety of draft beers to choose from and a jukebox with a good variety of music. It's a backwoodsy sort of joint in New England.“
“Great American casual food.Stopped for a quick lunch on the way down to NY. The lamb harissa burger was fantastic. The patty was super tender, and the flavor was strong. The harissa was mixed in the meat, so it wasn't too strong. The meat was juicy, and it was just great overall. I got the side of tater tots, and they were very enjoyable as well.Nice quick stop if you're in the area.Parking: Huge lot.“
“Went into plan b Wednesday with my wife and Hannah made my wife the BEST margarita. One of the best margarita my wife has had. Went in Saturday night hoping Hannah would be there and it was a newer bartender, margarita was very sour and did not taste right at all. Also, the bartender on Saturday was very rude…attitude was bad. will be back but hope Hannah is bartending. ??“
