“Unfortunately, this is a downgraded rating for this restaurant since we first went there several months ago. First I want to say however, that the service remains excellent and the staff really care. We have been to Morea 5 times since it has opened and tonight we realized that if they really want to be the best and 5 stars, then a few things need to change. 1. There menu is significantly static and really needs to either change or increase the choices on the menu. 2. They need to add more seafood choices. 3. Their dessert menu is not great or imaginative. and 4. They need some surprises on the menu- like wild game, seasonal dishes, or special seasonal delicacies like wild mushrooms or amazing and delicious fish like Pompano. I hope the management of the restaurant reads this review”

Some cultural experience including hanging out with locals; which was my favorite because it brought me back to my exchange experience (even made time in the trip to visit my host family). Lots of great food; he knows where to go! Best of all; willing to go with the flow of our family rhythms.”

“This was such an adorable place. It felt like a local spot found in the Hallmark movies. Recently had brunch with my daughter at The Sandy Hook Café. It was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled in the heart of Sandy Hook, CT this cafe exudes a cozy yet vibrant charm, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing brunch. We chose the booth by the front window box that was sweetly decorated for the holiday. There were couple other booths, a high-top table, and several two/four-top tables. Tiny space but a gigantic, interesting menu. Good for takeout as well. There is a small outdoor seating area overlooking the river. We were greeted by Ralph, the owner/chef. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. He proudly described all of the interesting specials (his own creations) and it was difficult to decide as they all sounded simply wonderful. We went with the blackened eggs benedict with salmon special, and the breakfast burrito. All fresh ingredients, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It’s an inviting space where you can linger over your meal without a care in the world. Sandy Hook Café is a hidden gem that’s worth every penny. I will definitely be becoming a regular.”

“Exceptional food quality, portions and price! If you're looking to have Korean/Japanese food with authentic taste go to Sushi 2020. Owner was very accommodating, friendly and hands-on. My family's go to place with some of our fav to order - bibimbap, bento boxes and the variety of sushi. This place is a hidden gem located close to sikorsky.”

“As salamu alaikum.i must say the moment I enter his store till I left I felt at home.truly nice,hospitable,and great cooking background.rarely you go in a store you get customer service, it felt more like a moment you yearn for all stores that they are missing .I'm grateful for the town of ansonia to have a family store with great food and service to provide to a community..the chicken ? biryani and coconut drink and samosas was super and very savoring.ANSONIA FOR A VISITOR VISITING FAMILY THEN A STOP TO EAT HERE AT ROSIE'S MADE A FAMILY DAY BETTER.I HOPE THE BEST FOR THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!! “Really Authentic Italian food just like Mama Gualtieri used to make back in Jersey! The Gravy was fresh and just perfection along with the macaroni similar to what Artie Bucco served at Vesuvio's where the gang would hang out. It's a pride thing.
