“I ordered a turkey Club and a ham, bacon, cheese sandwich and both came without bacon. I took it back to the counter and the guy said I didn't order bacon. I said, I did but no matter ,I would be glad to pay for the difference. He promptly put two cold pieces of bacon on each sandwich and then proceeded to toss the plates on to the table for us. I will never be back here again.Update 08/18/19 Well I have gone back and the management has changed staff now and I now rate 4 stars instead of 1. They have really turned it around.The chicken Vermonter is downright addicting it's so good . Great reversal guys. One last thing, please stop cleaning the trays with the same cloth that has never been washed and smells like stale water and you will get 5 starsx. 12/13/24 they have stopped using old cloth to clean the tables so now it is 5 stars . Great turnaround guys”

“Was Working in town and decided to stop by as I’ve heard great things about UConn Diary Bar. There were commencements going on so lines were a little long but worth the wait. I got a medium 3 scoop black raspberry which was fresh and delicious. Definitely would go back again.”

“We are full-time wedding photographers, and we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding ceremony and reception at Georgina’s on a summer day with a wonderful couple. The space in the back of the restaurant turned out to be larger than expected in person and amazingly well suited for photos both during the wedding itself and after with the couple and their friends and family. We used the ceremony space and the small bridge to make some very cute shots. Moving inside we were able to enjoy a sweet and intimate evening with some fantastic food. Everyone loved it all from what we could see, and the couple was very happy with the wedding and how the photos came out. Our thanks to the considerate and attentive staff, too! “I highly recommend Mario’s! Over the weekend we hosted a birthday party at a park near by the restaurant. We enjoyed delicious pizza & and antipasto from Mario’s. They were extremely friendly & helpful through the whole process from helping with ordering answering a million questions lol to the day of with delivery right to the party! All the hostess’s, the delivery man, & Niko were all exceptional. Not only that but the food was great and at a fair price for the amount we ordered!! Thank you so much for making this an easy great experience so I could focus on enjoying the party!”

This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food I've had to date! I have a strong culinary background and highly recommend you put this place on a short list of great food destinations! In the past we've had curry lamb, tomato soup, tom yam soup, lolipop chicken, fried rice, and aloo paratha. Make your way through the whole menu, you won't be disappointed!”

“Beautiful and authentic place! Taking care of cows is a really hard job, so I have a lot of respect for these farmers. We are from Europe, when we tried the whole milk from Fish farm, we can’t buy ANY other milk on the market! This is how milk is supposed to taste! Also, best ice cream, sweet cream my favorite. “if you live near UCONN, then you need to check out gansett wraps on storrs roadthe owner khal is originally from lebanon and when he moved to the states, he knew he wanted to share his love for food with the community around himhe originally opened his first wrap shop in narragansett rhode island and now gansett wraps is in a few towns across connecticut and rhode islandfirst timers have to try the gyro falafelits a beef gyro, with housemade falafel, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and tzatziki sauce. the sauce is so savory and falafel which is a blend of chickpeas and spices added so much flavorother wraps can be stuffed with chicken, bacon, veggies and even french frieshome to where the husky womens basketball team gets their lunch, gansett wraps has to be added to your connecticut foodie bucket list❤️”
