“We are full-time wedding photographers, and we had the pleasure of photographing a wedding ceremony and reception at Georgina’s on a summer day with a wonderful couple. The space in the back of the restaurant turned out to be larger than expected in person and amazingly well suited for photos both during the wedding itself and after with the couple and their friends and family. We used the ceremony space and the small bridge to make some very cute shots. Moving inside we were able to enjoy a sweet and intimate evening with some fantastic food. Everyone loved it all from what we could see, and the couple was very happy with the wedding and how the photos came out. Our thanks to the considerate and attentive staff, too! “I tried this place for the very first time, and I must say I'm so glad I gave them a shot, I'll be back! I ordered General Tso's Chicken along with some plain lo-mein. I loved that they had the option to get it plain! Even though it's plain it still comes in a very flavorful tasty sauce. The General Tso's chicken sat for about 15 minutes on the commute back, and it still was crispy, flavorful, and delicious after! I appreciate the option to spice everything up!“

“Utsav is definitely the best Indian restaurant in the area. The inside is charming and the service is every bit as good as a very high end restaurant. The cocktails are amazing with fresh ingredients and you get your money’s worth with the pours!

The food is incredible - I think we’ve tried just about every dish on the menu and we have never had a bad experience. You can really taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Our favorites are Kodi Vepudu, Uppukari, and Aadu Mappas. While the food is fantastic enough to justify ordering takeout whenever you are in the mood, you should really dine in for the full experience.

Whenever we go, the waitstaff is attentive and on top of everything. They will even pack you more rice for leftovers and we have gotten extra dessert when we asked to take ours home because we couldn’t finish it!

This place is worth every penny, I would happily drive an hour or more to have dinner here.“

“Our recent school staff's Christmas celebration was an amazing success due to the wonderful amenities provided by this establishment. Their service staff were so attentive to everybody's needs and their courteous service made me feel right at home. Let's not forget the delicious food served in their buffet line! The buffalo wings, drumsticks, and pulled pork were so delicious, it was impossible to resist countless returns to the buffet line. The space that my school was allowed to use was adequately spacious and comfortable for the group size of over 40 in attendance. There was even space available for a small musical ensemble to perform and dance floor to jam to the music. Restroom facilities were kept in utmost state of cleanliness! Hops44 is certainly a place to go to with family or for special celebrations. “We've gone twice within about 2 weeks because we enjoyed it and wanted to try more items. The food here isn't fancy, but it's good. The drinks we had *were* fancy and excellent. Reasonably priced with friendly service.

On my first trip, I went with the mole because that's how you can tell how good a Mexican place is. It ranks 3rd on my list behind a place in Branford and behind my own mole. But it was better than what I had in Mexico. GF got the al pastor which was solid. My send trip, I went more typical with a combo platter of taco, gordita, and tostada. She got the chili relleno. Again, nothing to hand out an award for, but just well done classic versions. When it's colder, I look forward to trying the soups.“

“My daughter and I stopped here on our way back from a UConn tour - I’m vegetarian and the Mediterranean pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had - highly recommend!!! My daughter ordered chicken and a side of fries, the fry order was huge for $5! I helped her eat the fries and we both couldn’t put a dent in it! Friendly staff, beautiful sunset view - if we are ever back in the area we will definitely stop back in!“

The rest of the platter was fine but one shrimp?!? It was very tasty too which made us all the sadder. Chicken fingers were good but 6 was quite a lot. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food.
