D’Angelo’s in Vernon, CT. just made one of the worst menu decisions I’ve ever seen. The Rice & Grain Bowls — the items that actually made you different from every other sandwich shop — are gone. The Southwest and Korean BBQ bowls were incredible, and the matching sandwiches were just as good. Now all of them have been removed. We already have plenty of sub shops. What made D’Angelo’s special was the bowls. Without them, you’re just another sandwich place in a sea of sandwich places.
I used to give you five stars. Now it’s one.
Bring back the Rice & Grain Bowls — this “menu experiment” is a huge mistake.“

“We love this local subway. The two women who work here (usually Wednesdays) are so friendly and kind. They always have fun conversations with my girls and are so welcoming when we walk in. It’s a favorite little spot for us to grab a quick dinner!“

“The Sophia's plaza is the only subway I go too. The staff there is super friendly, the store is clean, and it's very warm and comfortable inside unlike many of the other stores that took on the new look that is less than pleasing imo“

“My family and I have always loved Jersey Mike’s subs, and drove to Ellington tonight where we were not disappointed! Ryan, the manager, was VERY customer service oriented. Mason and Alex chimed in and fixed great food. We got there about 39 minutes prior to closing, and they welcomed us, told us to take our time, and did not seem to be hurrying us along. We were made to feel like the most valued customers they’d had. We will definitely be going back!“

“It's good filling and fast. The resurant is very clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. Even with a line, there was no waiting. Fast stop for a good lunch. The resurant is hidden in the back of the building.

“I had ordered Veggie Patty, but it wasn’t available in the store. So they called and politely asked me if I am open for other options. As I decided to go with Veggie Delight, they offered me a complimentary drink to compensate the amount.
