The vibe at Ore Hill is romantic, intimate, rustic and calm. We participated in the chefs tasting menu with an attached wine pairing that was perfectly matched to the meals we were eating. From the second we walked in the door to the second we left the staff was welcoming, kind, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. Ore Hill sources their produce from a local farm called “Rock Cobble Farm” that they are in collaboration with which makes the dining experience even more special. Everything we ate was fresh and vibrant. Ore Hill truly is a diamond in the rough here in Connecticut and really is branching off from a traditional dining experience. For anyone looking for a romantic and intimate experience, make your way over to Ore Hill. You will be nothing but satisfied and happy. She makes the croissants and English muffin bread from scratch, and uses the thickest bacon around on her sandwiches. Everyday there’s something new in the baked goods case, and I never regret getting it (cough cough carrot cake cheese cake coffee cake) 🤤. Love hearts is truly a hidden gem”
