We got the combo platter at the Continuum event yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I love their tacos and burritos. they have added metal covering over the area where you place your order and over an area outside where you can sit and eat. you can also go inside where there are tables and plenty of toppings for your food. it's clean. there is a bathroom also. “I have eaten at Sultan‘s multiple times and brought friends. It is hard to overestimate the quality of the food. But if you like Turkish food, then this is the place for you. I would also like to shout out Oguzhan, Who has been my server the last few times I’ve eaten there. If you have ever traveled in Europe and eaten in the better restaurants, you understand that waiters take the job seriously. That is what the service is like at Sultan. Oguzhan in particular is friendly accommodating and very professional. The only criticism I have of this place is that their wine list does not do justice to their food. They should kick that up a notch. But I will look forward to going back regardless“

“I love getting my chicken shawarma for lunch. Along with indoor dining they have a cute outdoor patio. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, I always enjoy stopping by to pick up some snacks and hookah products. Definitely one of the best halal food store/restaurants in Waterbury.“

We had trouble getting here since they opened but finally could and I'm so mad we waited to come here so long. Being vegetarian it's hard to find good food that isn't boring. The portions are generous and even with as much as I ate I slowed down and had to bring some home. As for the restaurant itself, at the time we went it's very sensory friendly for autistic people like me. The music is nice and muted. The colors are dark and comfortable. The chairs are comfy. The lighting it dim and warm. No real sounds from the kitchen. Of course we went and were the only people there because we eat early, but it was perfect for me and for us in general. “We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“
