“It was a random Sunday and my daughter and I needed something for dinner. We normally frequent the Groton CT location but we ventured here today. When we walked in the place was empty but so clean! All the tomatoes and other condiments were filled nice and high and looked fresh. The two gentlemen assisting us were super friendly and helpful! Seriously one of the best experiences here!“

“I needed to post this review. I always choose this location in my ride and i need to finally give appreciation.Out of the 4 McDonalds in my travels i try to make a point to choose this one if i can fit it in. The leader on duty when i typically go is Princess (she said thats her name so well go with that) she is amazing! She knows my order and customizes it exactly the same each time and makes it really well. Ive also seen her instruct the others on using the register to sub certain things when needed. She is a very valuable worker who seems to actually care how the location performs.The foods good, prepared as it should be, instructions are followed. The location is good because its right in Walmart but im honestly not sure if i structure my McDonalds visits around Walmart or my Walmart visits among THIS McDonalds. Its just dependable.“

“I can really only give this a four out of five cause while I do like Papa John’s, there are some things that need to be pointed out. First time I ordered them was the day after 4th of July last year and I had no problems, but I recently ordered from them on DoorDash yesterday since they were nearby my girl’s place.

I ordered a garlic stuffed crust pizza and some wings for me, and a regular stuffed crust pizza with some breadsticks for my girlfriend. She had no problems with her food, but when I took the first three slices of my garlic stuffed crust, I don’t know if it was something with the pizza or not but my stomach felt a little weird. Every time I take slices of the garlic one, I always can’t help but wash my hands afterwards, which I could give a shit less about.

I later decided to eat my wings, and while they are decently enjoyable, they need to be tossed in more sauce. I had to grab BBQ sauce from my girl’s fridge and apply it to my wings, could give a shit less about that too, and it was a bit better. But these guys gotta toss their wings in more sauce. No one wants a dry wing.

On another note, when I ordered from them at the beginning of the year, I got the Chicken Parm Bites, which were ok, and the pizza sauce that came with them had a slight sweet tang, like lemon or something, which I honestly wasn’t fond of. And I don’t know if that’s the same sauce they also give with the breadsticks or not, but come on. We don’t want a sweet sauce with the breadsticks.

Will it be my last time ordering from them again? I don’t know, but for now, this gets a 4/5. (Subscribe to Doughtoli and DoughJoe)“

“I'll always be a fan of dipped cones and hot fudge sundays from Dairy Queen. Service was kind of weird. The guy working here wasn't around and the place was dark when we arrived in the evening. Then he came out and served people for a little over an hour. Then the lights went out again, so I'm not sure what their hours are. He was friendly though. I was also really excited to see the variety of flavors for dipped cones! chocolate, cherry, dreamsicle (which I hope to try when it isn't sold out) and butterscotch“

“The customer service here can be hit or miss but they make the effort to rectify things! At the time, I wasn't compensated for an order even with proof of purchase when an item is / was unavailable.Those that work there are great people and I enjoy the food there. Maybe some aren't fully up to speed, and the store / region reached out to me to rectify things after this review - which tells me this review needs a proper update and future consideration.Old Review: Ordered two shakes but the machine was broken on 3/10/24. Was told to COME BACK WITH THE RECEIPT and I would be taken care of who I believe is a shift manager (has tattoos, lighter hair older). The other manager who was here said nothing could be done and she needed writing on the receipt. I’ve never heard of this being a thing in McDonalds having worked there myself when I was younger. On top of that, an other customer came up and needed an item fixed - he had a receipt for his sandwich and the manager promptly took the sandwich back and it’s being remade for him with no need for writing.“

“Yay! I was so happy on my visit today when I spotted Jonathan at work behind the counter! He had always been so fantastic working over at the Sunoco Subway and hoped he was ok after the closing of that location. But he was at the Waterford location today and YAY! Jonathan really goes above and beyond in his interactions with customers...he is always SO polite and professional! He explained all the cleaning that is now in place. You can really tell that he likes working with people and that he is definitely going to go far! I will definitely be visiting more often since I really feel he does a great job at everything! I KNOW my food will be great and the service will be excellent if Jonathan is there! My favorite Subway guy EVER! (and no...I don't know him personally...I'm just really impressed by excellent customer service when I see it!)“

“I had my first Diary Queen ice cream at the Niantic branch, the heath cup-achino - it had caramel, a chocolate fudge and whippy ice cream. (I can’t remember the exact name. I will definitely have it again and take a photo next time!) It was a sundae. Huge portions. I shared mine with my other half. There was a long queue as everyone was there after the Memorial Parade. I didn’t mind waiting. There’s lots of car parking space outside. It was a take away. The only thing I was sad about was there was no coffee ice cream on the menu. I get that this place is for children, the menu was huge. You don’t want children bouncing off the walls, but adults love ice cream too.“
