“I fly to West Hartford every weekend just to eat at Kitchen Plate. I live in North Carolina, and yet somehow this has become the most logical decision of my life—because once you’ve eaten here, nothing else compares.
Kitchen Plate isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. From the moment the food hits the table, you can tell everything is made with care, intention, and an unreal level of skill. The flavors are bold but balanced, comforting but exciting, and consistently unforgettable. No matter what I order, it somehow ends up being the best thing I’ve eaten all week—every week.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the chef. He is, without exaggeration, my favorite chef ever. Watching someone put this much passion and pride into their craft is rare, and you can taste it in every single bite. The food feels personal, like it was made specifically for you. There’s creativity, heart, and serious talent behind every dish, and it shows.
I’ve eaten at plenty of great spots, but Kitchen Plate is the only place that has made me plan flights around a meal. That’s not a joke or an exaggeration—it’s just that good. If you live nearby, don’t take it for granted. And if you don’t? Trust me, it’s worth the trip.“

“I had an outstanding experience at Teriyaki Madness in West Hartford thanks to the amazing night staff on 5/29/25! Kirsten who goes by Kris, took my order, was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations and ensured I felt comfortable with my choices because my first option was sold out for the day! Brendon was equally impressive! His charm and respectfulness shone through as he assisted Kirsten by handing out the orders and keeping the dining area clean. I arrived just before closing, but both Kirsten and Brendon maintained their enthusiasm and were eager to serve me. Their teamwork made the experience even more enjoyable, and I truly appreciated their dedication to excellent customer service. I couldn’t have asked for a better dinner pit stop after a long day of work! Thank you, Kirsten and Brendon, for making my first visit memorable!“

“Milkcraft is such a fun and delicious spot for ice cream! The strawberry flavor was really good — fresh, creamy, and full of flavor.
