“Geez, there are reviews on here that are so bad, it made me wonder. But the restaurant I used to get a meatball grinder from changed hands awhile back, and it changed for the worse, IMO, so I needed another option.
I tried Jimmy's, and I it was good. I liked the grinder and also the Greek salad. Both were good-sized servings for the price. The order was ready for pickup right on time, and the staff seemed to have things well in hand. It's going to be my new go-to place in the future.“

“Just checked out the new South Windsor location and the the experience did not disappoint. Great service, food was delicious and portions were HUGE. We had a specialty pizza, chicken piccata, salad, and house made fried mozzarella. All great. Only problem is we can’t move right now.“

I haven't been to Park Lane in quite a few years, I live in New York City now but I did live in West Hartford at one time and I owned a house in Bethel Connecticut and I used to drive up to West Hartford and always looked forward to one of your pies. “This restaurant is under new management, and I've eaten the chicken fingers so many times in the last three weeks, they are juicy center and lightly crunchy on the outside which make it amazingly good, love the garlic bread of course no cheese for me, and the Caesar Salad has a smooth not to fatty dressing which is delicious. Please come visit and enjoy.“

“I fly to West Hartford every weekend just to eat at Kitchen Plate. I live in North Carolina, and yet somehow this has become the most logical decision of my life—because once you’ve eaten here, nothing else compares.
Kitchen Plate isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience. From the moment the food hits the table, you can tell everything is made with care, intention, and an unreal level of skill. “Im not a pizza fan at all but let me tell you hands down best pizza in CT as of 2025 I love thr sauce cheese and dough everything about it is my favorite honestly when yoy have a favorite pizza you will still say that a sauce from a different place is better or cheese but no this one all 3 itmes are the best I've had and im not even a cheese pizza guy either I like my with toppings but honestly the cheese here is so good I don't even need toppings and the restaurant is located in a nice area with a lot of nearby stores I miss the donut shop they had good donuts I'd always get it after eating here“

“I would walk 500 miles... Well maybe not walk 500 miles. But I will drive 350 miles round trip. Just to have dinner at one of my favorite Restaurants in my old neighborhood. Congrats to Kenny and his culinary and service team. Dinner for my party of 4 was delicious. The 3 specials Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken & Sausage Paella, and the Baby Rack of Lamb. The 4th dinner was our longtime favorite Gnocchi Sorentino. Walked out bellies full and pallets completely satisfied. Oh yeah, don't forget the Fried Burrata. Anytime I'm in Brookfield I will visit Portobellos. Love this place.“
