“This restaurant is one we have come to love. Our server, Maggie, was absolutely wonderful — so attentive, kind, and very professional. She truly made our evening special. We started with the stuffed mushroom caps, artichoke hearts, and a Caprese salad, and all of the appetizers were outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. We had the filet of sole stuffed with crab and it was absolutely delicious. Allison had the lasagna with a Caesar salad and it was out of this world. The birthday girl had the manicotti with a Caesar salad, and she said it was transcendent. We finished the meal with pistachio and spumoni ice cream balls covered in chocolate, and of course the birthday girl had a slice of their amazing chocolate cake topped with a birthday candle with everyone singing Happy Birthday!!! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful evening. By the end of the night, the birthday girl was so happy with her meal that she kissed the chef — which really says it all. It was a truly lovely evening, and we can’t wait to come back.“

“Stayed here for a family vacation the amenities were amazing they have a Starbucks inside of the spa and the spa itself was a treat to be there for it was a very relaxing place to spend a vacation I would recommend it to all my friends and family“

“Grano Arso is an absolute must-try! The food was unbelievably good, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. Lani, Chef Joel, and the entire staff truly know what they’re doing.

We started with the peaches and Nardello peppers, followed by the short rib, Toasted Rye Tagliatelle, and Rigatoni Bolognese. Everything was incredible and so well done. Easily one of the best meals we’ve had in a long time.

“My wife and I went to Brickside before the show at the Ivoryton Theater. We ordered a glass of wine and a draft beer and chose the Brickside pizza. It was fantastic! “My family and I stopped here after a beach day yesterday. At first we were a little nervous because we were the only customers, but I’m so glad we stayed! (There were a number of people who did come in to pick up orders while we were there) There’s a small seating area inside along the wall and some tables with umbrellas outside. We got a party sized special for the four adults and chicken nuggets and a bacon burger for the kids. Both the kids’ entrees were delicious, especially the fries, which were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. But the pizza was the star! They kindly brought it out on two separate trays for us, so no one was stuck reaching over one another to grab more slices, and you definitely will be grabbing more! The crust was thin and crispy (but not like a cracker) with a little bit of a char on it. The top was loaded with toppings and the whole thing was delicious!!! I know the girls side each had three slices a piece, and I’m sure the guys side had just as many, and we were left with 6 slices to take home. I’m so sad this restaurant is so far from where I live, but it definitely has become our new place to eat after a beach day!“

“Pasta Vita is one of my favorite places to grab a meal. I’ve honestly never had a bad dish there. Everything is fresh, delicious, and made with quality ingredients, while still feeling wholesome and not overly heavy.

I love that they rotate their menu every week, so there’s always something new to try. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, too. Whether you’re picking up dinner for yourself or feeding a family, you really can’t go wrong. It’s an absolute gold mine!“

“I am a big fan of B & W’s overall food quality especially the variety of salads, especially the tunafish & fruit. Met a woman from Branford who comes especially for their Broccoli & Tunasalad a ***** always fresh. The homemade dressings delish especially the Honey Lime my favorite. Yes standing in line is never easy but servers work very hard to keep up with food requests & always willing to make the selections exactly as requested. We on the Shoreline fortunate to have such a great place to order such a variety of home cooked food.“

We knew we did not have time for entrees and ordered the Eggplant Rollatini and Crab Cake special appetizers. They also were brought out promptly and were absolutely delicious and generous portions. Follow up: We came back looking forward to another great meal. The drinks were still fantastic. We orders three appetizers and dessert. The Eggplant Rollatini which last time was fresh, delicious and generous this time felt like warmed over left overs and a smaller portion. The Brussels were good. The meatballs were good but felt like a small portion for $15. We were really bummed about the cheesecake for dessert, it was a very petite slice which we got to share and tasted like a frozen cheesecake maybe worth $6-8 but not $12. We might come back again but dialing back our expectations for the next visit.“
