I usually avoid fast food or shawarma spots because of my strict diet, but I chose this place for two reasons: they serve halal food, and during a snowstorm it was the closest option available. I’m really glad I did it turned out to be a great experience. I ordered the Chicken Salad Bowl with grilled chicken chunks, cucumbers, lettuce, chickpeas, hummus, and a variety of flavorful sauces. It was perfect for my no-carb diet and everything was fresh, tasty, and very satisfying. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a halal, nutritious, and budget-friendly meal. The staff were also incredibly polite and welcoming.“

Barbara was fantastic in helping determine the best menu for our party size (brunch for 30 people). Laurie was wonderful and so helpful when we were setting up our decorations--making sure we had all the linens, ensuring we had the right Playlist for the party, and that all of the details for our event were well socialized amongst the staff--as well as running a tight operation with the bartenders and servers during the party.

The venue itself had the perfect rustic vibe for our fall woodland theme, and was sectioned off from the main dining area, while still allowing sufficient space to move around and take pictures. The food selections (shakshuka, homemade breakfast sausage, frittatta) were absolutely delicious, and the cupcake display was a huge hit!

“The CBR pizza is out of this world. The first time I went in there my boyfriend & I bought a few different slices to try & they were all good but the CBR was def our fave. The slices are a generous size & price too. I like really thin & thick crust pizza. Classica is a happy medium between the two - prob more on the thin side & has the perfect amount of crunch (it doesn’t crack & fall apart when you take a bite like some thin crust pizzas do). I personally enjoyed the Spring Bowl with Tofu, which was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I also tried the Pitaya Island and it was an absolute must-try – such a delightful treat! The owner, Alyssa, is very friendly and was an absolute pleasure to meet. Her warm hospitality made our visit even more special. If you're in the area, Greens on the Go is definitely worth a visit. Atmosphere is intimate, with tightly arranged tables, with a few outside on sidewalk. Only downside (which has no room for improvement) is the cramped entryway and bathroom that is holdover from an era when ADA accessibility was not a consideration. The restaurant is historic in that regard, with painted tin ceilings; was one of the first “healthier food” restaurants. It keeps that standing even in Norwalk’s hot restaurant scene.
