“Amazing food the Brisket was so tender that when I picked it up it crumbled Into pieces off my hand and fork. So good. Chicken, Mac and cheese and Corn Bread were phenomenal. Staff was very nice and took the time to explain the menu. Alsi A clean restaurant. I am not from the area but I will be taking the 45 min drive to come back again.“

“Well I’ll be d8mned. This was the BEST food I’ve ever had in CT and that’s saying a lot. Best BBQ too. Didn’t care for the brisket, but the ribs (and I hate ribs) and pulled pork were to die for. Don’t even get me started on the sides! No velveeta Mac here, this is the real deal. Everything is seasoned and on POINT. The cocktails are marvelous as well. Run, don’t walk to eat here.“

“Our family recently visited Hungry Pot Korean BBQ to celebrate my son’s birthday, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. For many of us, this was our first time dining at a Korean BBQ restaurant, and our server, Tian, went above and beyond to make it memorable. He warmly interacted with everyone at the table, guided us through the ordering process, and even prepared several dishes right at our table, allowing us to try a wide variety of options. The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, leaving everyone fully satisfied. The environment was clean and inviting, the staff was attentive and friendly, and the overall dining experience exceeded our expectations. We left with great memories, and I would highly recommend Hungry Pot Korean BBQ to anyone seeking delicious food and excellent service in a welcoming atmosphere. “The food was awesome 🤩 1 thing I want to say first is that I’m so happy that they have a Jamaican/ West Indian Restaurant here in West Hartford I no longer have to drive to Hartford to buy Jamaican food. I ordered a large oxtail with rice & peas and veggies. The meat was tender and juicy with lots of gravy on top and some on the rice, the rice was moist not hard at all and the veggies were steamed not soggy with a bit light crunch on them. The Restaurant is family oriented you can definitely eat in and have lunch or dinner with your family and friends and enjoy a great meal. I will definitely be back and also recommend this place to everyone at work.“

“I visited with my wife for a steak dinner. Our server was Matt. His attention to guests was exemplary and overall the restaurant's staff coordination was perfect. The food was coming at the right times and temperatures, steak was done the way we chose, and empty dishes disappeared from our table as if by magic. We enjoyed the dinner and will be back soon.“

“Unassuming takeout only West Indian Restaurant. I have been a few times and the food is always excellent! I love the Jerk Chicken, peas and rice with Oxtail Gravy and Stewed Cabbage. Just the right amount of heat and the smoky flavor of the chicken is perfect! The cabbage is sweeter than I am used to, but I enjoyed it. It helped cut the heat. Parking can be difficult when it's busy, but so worth it!!!“

“I’m giving it four stars because I just picked up my order. But when I was late picking up my order, they called me and informed me that there was not a parking space for pick up and to call them when I got there. When I called one of the employees actually met me outside to give me my order I can consider that great customer care.“

“My wife had the Prime Rib special and absolutely loved it. The portion was perfect and came with side salad as well as the potato and vegetables. I had wings and a garden salad and had half of both for lunch the next day. Prices for both meals was on point. We will definitely be back again soon.“

“I stopped by Taste of 509 for the first time and honestly glad I did. I got the chicken with black rice and a smoothis and both were so excellent. The food was so delicious and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. You can tell the food is kot rushed and made with care. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a nice island feel to it, a nice vibe and energy. The service was smooth. The smoothie OMG it was thick, fresh definitely felt homemade. Overall it was a great experience. It's nice to have a spot like this in the area. I will definitely come back!“
