“Tandoori Snapper = 😋 & 🔥. Beware, a bit more spicy than you might be expecting. Whooooooaaaoaa! It has a very nice flavor though, so you will keep smashing your face in pain. If not good with spicy, tell them light spice possibly. I would order again, just be prepared with extra ice.

They have vegan options which are clearly labeled and were even accommodating at making one of the dishes that I wanted vegan that originally wasn’t. Bashir was very kind and helpful with ordering. “My girlfriend is Indian and so far this is her favorite Indian restaurant in the United States. I agree with her the quality of the food it top notch.

That said, I also respect their honesty because we asked if the biryani was made traditionally and they admitted they made it like fried rice. Real biryani is made with the meat and rice cooked together. Therefore- I’d recommend everything on the menu except biryani.

If you are making biryani then call it biryani. If you are making fried rice then don’t call it biryani🤷‍♀️ if the server was not honest about the biryani and we tried it this would be a much lower review.“

“I recently attended a birthday party in Trumbull CT where the food was catered by Veda’s Restaurant Westport, and I was genuinely impressed. Their service was excellent. The food quality was exceptional, offering authentic Indian flavors.
The malai kofta was delicious and the garlic naan was very fresh and soft. Veda’s is definitely a must-try if you’re looking for authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!!“

We ordered the parotta, Chana bhatura, mirchi bhajji, idli wada and rasam wada,
Rasam wada was the best tasting item out of everything and so was the idli wada. Only wish they would dip the idli wada in sambar instead of a tiny quantity of sambar on the side.

Chilly bhajji could have been crispier but was tasty nonetheless, the rest of the curries were ok but the parotta was made well.

Overall, would highly recommend for some good South Indian food cravings, especially do try the rasam on a cold evening. 😀“

Bonus, there are a lot of great items here besides pizza....such as tandoori and biriyani_which you may not be interested in, but I am always looking for Indian food....“
