“Excellent food, but even more excellent customer service. This business has accommodated me and my family time and time again. Most recently, I made a mistake and ordered the wrong dish. The manager not only made me something new, but he was so kind and understanding about the whole ordeal. I highly recommend this place!!!“
“Not a wine person. But had to post what a great place and experience this place is. So cool inside and outside. Great whites. I had a whole bottle of Riesling after the flight tasting. All of the whites are delicious. We will be back. Awesome experience.“

“Parking: Fine, more in the back of the building / Dog Friendly: Yes, very.They have a k9 menu for the patio / Outdoor dining: Yes, full service picnic tables/ The food was honestly fantastic and I didn't expect it to be so good. It is the best food I've had in Winsted or the surrounding area, by far. They were very accomodating to my dog. Service was fast. They have you start a tab and slide your card from the get and you just close out when you're done. It was a really excellent experience.“

“We had a wonderful experience at George’s today. At a party of 6 adults, and 2 toddlers, we were very happy to sit down soon after arriving. We had a knowledgeable waitress who accommodated our special dietary needs. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all of our group. We would highly recommend this super, hometown feel, very professional restaurant for everyone! (And I totally felt comfortable eating their gluten free options)“

“I came from New York to check out the new Pet Rainbow bridge which was beautiful !!! I came to Sawyers Restaurant & Bar and sat at the bar with my sister and friend. Our bartender was Katie! She was attentive, sweet and a phenomenal bartender. We need more bartenders like her! Always smiling!!! I 100% recommend! Thank you !“

“Honestly one the most underrated pizzas in Connecticut (in my opinion). The sauce and ingredients are always PACKED with flavor, and the crust is always crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Their peperoni and sausage is a must try!“

“The delivery at that place is really quick. The food is also really good, especially the boneless spare ribs, the chicken broccoli, the chicken wings, and the golden fingers. Not to mention, the customer service is amazing. This is my go to Chinese restaurant.“

“I actually like this place. Reminds me of back home. Cash is preferred. And the price ranges for lunch $7 to 9 dollars. My children love chicken wings with pork fried rice. That was around $8.50. But they give you 4 wings which is what I'm use too compared my local Chinese that give you on 6 pc for $7.80. I did take pictures of their menu because I was always hesitant to buy when I don't see menu on website. I believe they should update their system. We're in 2021?? either way I'm happy my local was close on Monday. Gave me a chance to try new food.“

“We made reservations for 6 on a Saturday Evening (non-hibachi seating).
We were promptly seated and immediately greeted by our attentive server, Nick.
We ordered a salmon avocado roll, a rainbow roll, a few pieces of sashimi, and a spicy Kani salad, all of which were fresh and tasty.
Would stop by in the future if I’m ever in the area.“

“The food and service is very good. but the booming bass music coming from the kitchen as I was sitting in the booth is too loud. I don't even know if there is music playing in the restaurant. You can't hear it over the bass. This is at 5:00 pm on a friday“

“I have ordered the chicken cutlet grinder, lemon chicken Satorini grinder (need to try if you haven't!), eggplant and meatball parmesan grinders, and the Santa Fe and gyro chicken wraps. EVERYTHING has been excellent as far as freshness, flavor, and reasonable prices for generous portions. I understand they bake their own bread which would explain why the grinder rolls are always super fresh. Also, the staff are always friendly and appreciative. Although I've only gotten takeout, the place looks clean and comfortable, and there are tables so you can dine in.“

“Delectable cuisine executed expertly! Although, I have eaten Crab Rangoon countless times, having it here was like tasting it for the 1st time. They were folded into a triangle to give you more filling! Also, my husband has probably eaten fried dumplings at every Chinese Restaurant we have ever been to & declared these to be the best, without dispute. I ordered spice Szechuan Beef and was kind of having a transcendent experience with it all. Chinese food beyond measure!!! Also, an oasis tucked into a remote area with reasonable prices. Tip generously, and compliments to the chef! ? You can tell they make their own dough here! A must-try!“
