“I don't know if it has gone through new ownership or not, but it looks like it used to be named Pho 75. Not a lot of Asian cuisine in the area, but it will satisfy your Viet craving. It looks like only a few staff. Friendly, food is good, nice portions, take out is pretty quick. Overall, good experience, though I would have liked some sauces (sriracha and hoisin) with my takeout order. We were here for two nights and we ate food here twice (eat in once and takeout the other).“
“This morning we had a dish called The Hungry Harvest at my favorite breakfast. shop. Three scrambled eggs, ham, bacon, avocado, shredded grilled potatoes, and a slice of toasted whole grain bread with notes of chocolate and coffee. Fabulous! As always, the service and ambience were just outstanding“
“The craft is something special, it's a hidden gem definitely, the place wasn't super busy which was surprising for a Sunday morning. All the bakery items were made that morning and they are gone by the end of the day. Everything is fresh and delicious. The service is nice and accommodating. The owner is also very sweat. It was our first time here and to say we're pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The croissant is something straight out of a French bakery, super flaky and light and airy on the inside.Recommendations- croissant, coffee crumb cake, hot latte“
“We were definitely under dressed but stopped here on a whim and it was a good experience. We will definitely be back. My son had a dairy and soy allergy and I don’t eat dairy and they were beyond amazing with allergies. They can really accommodate anyone with an allergy! We will for sure be back. It was also very big portions and reasonably priced. Kids meal is only $8!Dietary restrictions: They are great with any allergy precautions!“
“The food is out of this world!!!!! The fried chicken is so moist and perfect. I got the honey mustard wrap and garlic parm fries and it was divine!!! My bf got the southern fried chicken and it was phenomenal. Even the nachos and chilli were fantastic! Cannot go wrong here. 10/10!!“
“Nestled on **765 Sullivan Ave in South Windsor, CT**, Birdhouse Coffee isn't just a coffee shop; it's a symphony of flavors, warmth, and community. As I stepped inside, the rich aroma of freshly roasted beans enveloped me, inviting me to stay awhile. The baristas, true artisans, take their time crafting each pour-over. I opted for their signature blend, the **"Morning Song"**, a dance of Ethiopian Yirgacheffe and Colombian beans. With every sip, I tasted dark chocolate, ripe berries, and a hint of floral sweetness—a harmonious composition. But let's dive deeper into the coffee symphony Birdhouse offers:1. **Morning Song**: The star of the show, this blend is a morning ritual. It greets you with a gentle crescendo of flavors, awakening your senses for the day ahead.2. **Sunrise Serenade**: A light roast that sings notes of citrus and jasmine. Perfect for those who prefer a delicate melody in their cup.3. **Velvet Sonata**: A medium-dark roast with undertones of caramel and toasted hazelnuts. It's like a warm embrace on a chilly afternoon.4. **Midnight Rhapsody**: For the night owls, this bold blend boasts dark chocolate, smoky cedar, and a touch of mystery. Pair it with a slice of their decadent chocolate cake. And the pastries deserve a standing ovation. The **blueberry scone**, flaky and buttery, burst with juicy blueberries. Paired with my coffee, it was a delightful duet. But Birdhouse Coffee isn't just about the brew; it's about connections. Locals gather here, sharing stories, laughter, and sometimes a game of chess. It's a haven—a place where caffeine meets camaraderie. The rustic wooden decor, soft jazz, and friendly baristas create an inviting ambiance. Whether you're seeking a morning pick-me-up or an evening refuge, Birdhouse Coffee hits all the right notes. So, if you find yourself in South Windsor, follow the melody to Birdhouse Coffee. It's more than coffee; it's a soulful tune—a reminder that life's best moments happen over a cup of warmth.*Disclaimer: This review reflects my personal experience and taste preferences. Yours may vary, but I hope it's as delightful as mine!“
“I had a great experience here. My card wasn't working and they were gonna give me the sandwich. I'm glad I was able to call my bank and figure it out. But them doing that shows this is a good business and I'll for sure be back again. Them turkey clubs are “
“My daughter took me here a few times....I got the meatball sub. I am reediting my post here because I was very disappointed. I got the sub each time because the roll was the perfect size. Not too bready....and full size smaller meatballs that were whole that fit the sub perfectly. I went last night for the first time in a while and was so looking forward to it. I was very disappointed. They changed to roll.... too much bread and the meatballs were a little bigger but cut in half. Not happy whatsoever. I will not be coming back.“
“I went in on March 19 to get some Zeppoles and I got a box of cookies on a whim. I’ve always preferred the sandwich cookies and chocolate covered ones. Usually, from other places or the grocery store, they’re good but dry and hard. The cookies from Guiseppina’s were the softest most flavorful Italian sandwich cookies I’ve never had. They were absolutely delicious. I will be coming back! The zeppoles were fabulous but I have never had Italian sandwich cookies like that. Thank you!“
“We arrived at 1pm and it was packed, we waited 20 minutes to be seated. Our order was good, except for the coffee, which needs to be improved because it is literally water, it has no flavor. If you want good coffee, this is not the place. Our waiter was very attentive. The prices are always very reasonable. The pancakes are exquisite. We always visit East Windsor, CT and Holyoke.“
“Traveling for business and I just needed a quick bite. Whole Deli was the perfect stop. Great customer service, reasonable prices, and a yummy sandwich. I like a basic sandwich- so just got ham and Swiss on a grinder. The bread was fresh and freaking delicious! So was the ham and Swiss. Perfect amount and so good! Would definitely recommend.“
“I love this place! They have by far the best smoothies! Not water or slushy! I wish I could have one every day! My bestie lives in DE now and she still gets one every time she’s up here. Definitely recommend if you want the best smoothie you’ve ever had!“
“I can not begin to tell you how much my husband & I LOVE Harry's!! Every time we have gone there or ordered out it was FABULOUS :) The only words I have to describe their pizza is MANA FROM HEAVEN, and I don't use those words lightly. Very friendly staff, and very welcoming atmosphere. :)“
“There is a 100% chance of delicious food. Never goes bad always amazing. When you can decide where to eat, pick Bears.Don't bother ordering online. You have no priority. You will stand and wait while they serve every other customer. I could have got in line and ordered my order and paid three times as I waited for them to start making my online order that was placed 45 minutes prior. A very disappointing experience.“
“Best cake ever!! Amazing in design (the photo I provided matched the cake wonderfully) and the taste was as impressive. It’s hard to get both from a custom cake. Our grandchildren Loved it!! We got a Marvel Superhero cake. My husband and I highly recommend!“
“This place is WONDERFUL. The minute you walk in the door the first thing they ask is if you need a gluten free menu, that's music to a person who struggles with celiac ears! It is absolutely amazing for any restaurant to offer such an extensive variety of gluten free options. It's hard enough finding places who actually have gluten free items on their menu let alone an entire menu. Our waitress Alicia was PHENOMENAL. My mother, best friend and sister and law brought me here as a surprise for my upcoming birthday. As a person with celiac disease who struggles to go out and enjoy myself with family and friends, was VERY impressed with the menu selection and the attention to assure it stays gluten free. I was so overcome with emotion looking at the menu I actually teared up. I sent many compliments to the manager about the waitstaf, the chef and the menu. And thanked him many times for having that safe place for someone with celiac to be able to enjoy themselves. I will repeatedly go to this restaurant as my experience here was so incredible .Dietary restrictions: They have an entire gluten free menu! And every one of the desserts can be made gluten free“
“This is a fun spot for tasty "Meximerican" food and margaritas. It's got the busy, slightly chaotic vibe of a popular local joint — the place was packed and rocking on a Saturday evening (literally...a live band came in, set up and started playing while we ate).Things to know before you come:1. They apparently take reservations, although that's not noted on their website. Would definitely have taken advantage of this had we known, but the wait wasn't bad and they have a good texting system in place to let you know when your table is ready.2. You can order and pay from your table by QR code, which took us a minute to realize. Still not sure if they have regular waiter service...it was a bit confusing.“
“We love having Adam’s ice cream truck at our family events. He’s accommodating and friendly, making booking a breeze. He has a great variety of ice cream and he’s always a hit. I’m looking forward to my next party with the truck.“
