The charming little restaurant was on the floor level apartment building. Techniques used are from Texas. Meats are smoked here and shipped from Riverdale MD location. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Service was quick and very nice. Unlimited BBQ sauce on the tables and generously portioned made the spot a good comfort food place. The prime brisket was very meaty and beefy but not particularly moist and juicy. The dino rib and beef rib was very savory and rich with salt and pepper flavor. The mac n cheese was the star of the show with smooth cheesey textures, good salt and a nice crusty top. The mac & cheese had a great crunchy top and gooey center. The zesty garden mix of cucumbers tomatoes onions watermelo radish was a nice refreshing pace to the heavy meats. The beans was nice and savory with brisket slices. Banana pudding was legit, natural smooth and delicious. Pricey but the quality made the trip worth it.
