“True to description, it's a cafeteria in a church basement served by nice ladies. The portions are beyond generous for the price. I got a ribs meal for 15 bucks that's a good two BIG meals for me.Ribs were so good, meat just falling off the bone. Enjoyed the yams and the greens too. Didn't have a line when I went there at 11:30 on a weekday.Recommend for soul food on the area.“

Wild Rice Salad
Bison Chili

“The Bison chili served with a cornbread muffin and a flour tortilla was very good. Unfortunately the Mexican wedding cookie had an overpowering taste like plastic or some manufacturing chemical had leached into the cookie, to the point it was inedible. I love Mexican wedding cookies, so it was really unexpected.“

Cold Salad Bar

“This is one of the places to be if you want food near the museums/Mall and want to avoid the overpriced junk food from the food trucks. The buffet (priced per pound) has various mains/sides, salads, soups, and fruits. It's similar to a grocery store hot foods bar/buffet. There are also stations for Korean food, sushi, sandwiches, and more if you want something different. The food was alright, but the selection definitely doesn't live up to the "international" in its name. I wouldn't mind coming back if I'm visiting the area again and not feeling like trekking to other places.“

“The best thing about this place is that its cheap - its also usually really health with tons of options theres a salad bar, sushi bar, soup, american food (french fries, chicken fingers, taters) then theres 3 other bars that change daily such as a burrito bar, or baked salmon with rice, or egg plant parm“

James Madison Memorial Building, 6th floor, 101-199 Independence Ave SE, Washington

“There are a lot of cafeterias in the Capitol complex, this is the best one. I'm a Hill staffer and I will happily take the time to walk across the Capitol complex to eat here when I get the time. If you are a book lover, this would be a perfect place on a slow afternoon to grab a book and plant yourself along the entire wall of floor to ceiling windows and enjoy the view with a cup of coffee and a treat.“

“I would like to report a company that allowing technicians to work illegal long hours. TA truck stop shop located at 7401 Assateague Dr Jessup MD 20794. The shop is manager by Larry he's allowing technicians to work illegal 24 hours straight a day. Because he can't keep technicians working at his shop. These techs are driving too when they are working these long hours. This action is putting the public safety in dangerous. The manager is allowing technicians to do side jobs under the table for owner operator customers. So they don't have to pay government taxes. This company need to be investigated.“

“The parking structure needs some improvements, an important one is to paint and mark up the stop signs inside the structure to allow a safe and organized flow of traffic. Also some personal should engage with directing the traffic at the entrance and the many cars inside the parking structure taking two spaces thus depriving other patients of parking spaces.“

“This cafe was interesting. The food was also good, but a bit pricey. If you do not want to leave the museum to eat food, I would suggest eating here. It was pretty hot outside so we were happy to be able to stay inside and get food. I do not have any complaints about this cafe.“
