Five Guys

Before they went nationwide, this is the actual place I fell in love with Five Guys burgers, at the National Place food court. In a town full of expensive food options (like the $26 room service burger) it's just a good, no frills, honest burger cooked up fresh, topped however you want it. McDonalds is on the next block and is, of course, cheaper, but Five Guys burgers are worth the extra money. I used UberEats to order a large Cajun fry. The food was hot and made quickly, but Five Guys sent the wrong type of fries. The sent me a large plain fry. It's pretty disappointing since the Cajun fries were the only item that I ordered.

Of all the Five Guys I've been to, this one ranks pretty low. First, I'm so sorry I had to bother the cashier to actually order food. "What do you want?" sneered at you dripping with attitude is not a great way to greet a customer. Food was mediocre- at other chain locations it's fairly consistent, but the burger was dry and under seasoned. The onions were more grease than anything else. Disappointing to be sure. I'll be avoiding this location in the future.
