I've been wanting to try this place for forever but I was never sure if/when they were open. I was determined to try them so I absolutely had to figure it out. It's lent and as a New Orleans native, I was craving some good fried catfish. The menu stated they had "Cajun" fried catfish so I had to check it out myself. I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Its very small similar to a truck stop diner. The food was delicious and comforting. If you visit plan on taking a nap directly after the portions are huge and plentiful. I had the fried pork chops and potatoes I really enjoyed it and had the remainder for lunch. I will be back for sure!

The service was horrific - it took an entire 40 minutes for our food to be completed and there was only 4 other tables in the entire restaurant. Our order was just eggs, grits; nothing complicated. The food came out room temp, and there was literally nothing special about it.
