I have been to the Bethesda location and this was my first time going to the DC one. I went there with a group for brunch and the experience was great. The food selection was amazing especially the lamb, chicken and waffles, spanakopita, and zucchini fritters. Our waiter David was amazing and made our time there more enjoyable. RIP Kapnos. We had reservations here for the New Year's eve and I got a text saying that Kapnos, along with all other Mike Isabella restaurants, was closing as of 12/27/2018. Lots of good memories here. Food was delicious, drinks were good as well. My favorite spot was right by the kitchen. Warm and cozy, right next to the grill and the chef performing his magic.
