The greatest bar in DC period
I really enjoy Lyman’s Tavern and come here 2–3 times a week for the vegan food and drinks. Jess and Charlie are always great, they know my order and make the experience fun every time.
Unfortunately, I’ve had multiple negative interactions with bartender, Luke. On two recent visits, his behavior came across as dismissive and unnecessarily rude.

Gotta love Lyman's! Always make a stop here since moving away from D.C. 10 years ago. Owners are amazing people and you'll never have a bad meal! Great beer, cocktails and local, chill vibe. Love the pinball tournaments and perfectly curated selection of pinball machines and arcade games. Bring your kids and your dogs, hang out on the patio, and enjoy!
