Dependable and predictable. Takes a little bit of a walk to get here. Not very busy. Unique atmosphere with the decor. Food was pretty average. Wouldn’t complain but nothing special.
This sandwich shop also offers salads and soups, as well as a few other side items - even shakes. One orders up front, chooses your bread and sandwich style, and your choice is loaded onto the toaster. Here you may also grab your beverage of choice from the cooler before moving on to the chip selection (mainly kettle style) and the toppings area. Located right in front of the Starbucks and probably worth the try. You can customize your sandwiches. They also have hot soups. Soft drinks and coffee. no idea about parking though. From Washington Monument, it's about a 10-minute walk and Google Maps should take you there without issues.
