Stopped on way to VA from NH after driving all night. Needed a quiet place near airport to park and take a short nap. This was the perfect option. Park police building on north side of the island, parked for free on the south end. After the sun came up had some beautiful views of DC across the Potomac. Potomac Grille at this public golf course is the best kept secret for an inexpensive meal in downtown DC. Minutes from the memorials by car (free parking) and a reasonable walk from the Jefferson Memorial stop on the Circulator Bus Mall Route, they offer inexpensive food including breakfast all day.

When you take into account what this place is, a snack bar at a public golf course, it is pretty good. The menu has what you expect at a snack bar, very good prices considering what has happed to food prices lately. Food ingredients were good and fresh. I had a decent burger.
