One of the best spots for a cocktail in DC! Sustainability and warmth is embedded in the entire experience! Jon is phenomenal at what he does and is bringing true hospitality to this city!
What an amazing experience, from the warm greeting at entrance to the cozy ambience, and that's all before you get to the cocktails. Jon is...well, a pro, and his menu showcases that. In addition to his creative cocktails (many of which he makes his own tinctures and syrups for), he'll make you an excellent classic cocktail with the same enthusiasm. Riff Raff DC is a great, intimate speakeasy tucked away inside Johnny Pistola’s in Adams Morgan. It has perfect cocktail bar vibes, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The bar emphasizes dope conversations, community, and is an amazing addition to the neighborhood. It is the perfect chill spot for a date or a few friends.
The owner, who is also the bartender, is extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The staff is small and attentive. You can tell how much care and effort the owner puts into all the details and the vision behind the bar, which focuses on sustainability and repurposing. It is a zero waste bar with creative sustainable elements in everything they do.
The menu features a great selection of fun, unique, and delicious cocktails that are well-balanced, well-crafted, and fairly priced. The drinks are made with intention and change with the seasons. They also have great and well-made mocktails. Unique highlights include the handmade “caviar” on top of a drink. They also have some fantastic snacks, like tasty nachos. It is a place that wants people to feel welcome and have a good time, highly recommended for sip and taste events or a regular visit.
