“I really liked coming here to grab a bite to eat friendly staff and straight to the point really good service! And the seating area is great and inside is nice and clean really fresh fruit too! I love the Nice walk there as well! And really affordable for like a half a sub it was like 7.65 and that is pretty good to me for all the food you get on your sandwich ??

Vegetarian options: ALOT of vegetables and fruit options and vitamin water you can make a vegetable sandwich with a lot of stuff on top“

“The veggie patty sandwiches are always at this location and it always makes my sandwich more filling. I love the topping selection they have and it was the Safeway I grew up with in my old neighborhood, I will always order from this location.

Vegetarian options: The veggie patty is a game changer for vegetarians such as myself. I noticed a large difference in how much faster I got hungrier eating a sandwich without the veggie patty compared to when it was present. Plus it’s freaking delicious“

“I just got two sandwiches yesterday, and I never had an issue with quality and service. Sometimes, I like to order online also in advance so I can use the coupons. I think in the middle of the day is the best time to go cause I always see at least 3 people behind the counter in my opinion“

“I had McDonald's a while ago it was pretty good. So I thought I would try Subway it was better than I expected. But it didn't go well for Taco Bell and there was so much stress in the Panda Express. But there's not a lot of spots for lunch. But it was really good.

“I came here right on time today as it was the beginning of their lunch time service. I was one of the early birds,because by the time I had ordered, there was already a steady stream of people coming in to place their order. I already knew what I wanted to order even before I arrived. It was the meatball marinara sub. My initial thoughts were to just get the six inch sub, but after checking out he menu, I saw that the foot long was only about $2 more, so I went with that one. For the toppings, I requested pro alone cheese, lettuce, black olives, and those delicious red bell peppers. The e sub came out to be around $8.00 which was definitely markedly higher than the price a year ago. Such is life! Once I get to my office I will start eating and let you know how it tastes. I'm sure it will be the same like all of the other sandwiches that I've ordered from this place.“

“It doesn't really matter at what time I go to this subway, they have a variety of sandwich, I have tried all the sandwich and I loved all of them. But I just love the foot long Italian baguette with Chicken Triaki! another great sandwich is the MEATBALL SAB of course!“

“The store is located in Library of Congress: James Madison Memorial Building. There are ample seats which are very clean and comfortable. Charging ports are also available.
I usually preorder before I arriving at the store through Subway APP and there are bunches of promo codes available to redeem such as SIXINCHSUB to get a 6” sub for $3.99 and 699FL to get any footlong for $6.99.
All the staff are kind and friendly and they complete my order before the estimated time shown in the APP.“

“I had the turkey. White egg and cheese flatbread 6 in. It was $3.99 for the price it served its purpose. Aside from the more than questionable service with a hint of attitude (which could have been from working early morning). This place was cleaned and I love how the back was open and I could see them preparing for the day.“

“Very clean establishment for a fast food eatery, have healthy options on the go. Always get the 21 on the menu that's one of my favorite, oatmeal cookies and some sunchips. Have to be very careful where you eat. Some establishments are very dirty especially in washington d.c. But this one is very clean you can tell by the floors. “Spent Good Friday at the Museum of the Bible, left and walked the short distance to this Subway. There were 10 of us, and we arrived 40 minutes before closing, but the nice ladies served us like we were their first customers of the day. They were efficient, friendly and sweet. We will remember them the next time we visit the museum.“

“This location is always clean and the customer service is top notch. Special shout out to Natalie, she’s very efficient, kind and handles the lunch rush like a boss. She is the reason I walk past a total of 5 other subways just to come here.“

They offer a reasonable number of sandwich options, food quality is a little better than average. “Honestly, I’m surprised this Subway even still exists. The clientele is extremely ghetto and hard to work with. I literally witnessed one of the workers getting harassed and talked down by one of the guests yesterday and all I could think was “wow, thank you for showing up to work today”. Because if it were me, I wouldn’t be able to deal with it. No wonder you’ll have bullet proof glass encasing the food. Thank you for your service!“

“This particular subway is only accessible to employees of the State Department. The service is absolutely excellent and speedy with very savory meatball marinara sandwiches that I was served everyday at the most reasonable prices.
Overall, recommend trying if accessible, especially with the online app which can dramatically reduce wait times and provide the most courteous experience. Much recommended.“

“Smaller subway than many and the sandwiches are so much skinnier now. Yes a foot ling but seems about half as wide as 10 years ago. Sad part is they think we the consumer can't tell. Employee was courteous and respectful though.

Parking: Super hard to get parking.

“This Subway was a little harder to find because it's inside a building in the cafeteria area. Very nice once you find it. Food was the usual Subway fare, plus a nice selection of other snack/drink items. Very clean and plenty of seating available. There is outside seating available if the weather is nice. A good option if you don't have a lot of time and need to eat!“

“It's my experience that the success of a restaurant like Subway comes down to the crew. I obviously don't know what it was like in the past, but they seem to have a good crew working now. I placed my order online and arrived two minutes ahead of when the app said the good would be ready. It was, and I was out the door quickly, and the most important part was that the order was prepared correctly and was still hot. I only knocked the atmosphere slightly because the store is small with very little seating. Otherwise, this was a five-star experience.“

“Service staff are competent and are good at dealing with rush hour customers. They have very occasionally made mistakes with my online orders, but this is not a big deal.

“Extremely disappointed. I ordered online as I waited (2 footlong subs). The plan was that this was going to be dinner for me and my family. When I got in the car, I realized that I had been given 1 footlong and 1-6 inch sub. I called immediately. I was told to call back. I explained that I would just come back by the next day, being that I was on my way to get my kids from camp (and lived 1 hr away). We both were in agreeance. Whe I came back the next day, the guy acted brand new, like he didn't know what I was talking about. Accountability is BIG in my book. You can't do nothing for me if you can't take accountability. I have no Traub to lie about a sub especially. I was calm, approachable, and kind....... as I typed this, the guy Shaong came back and rectified things. I will be returning again. I have a lot of respect for this establishment. He fixed the issue. We r all human, and we forget things sometimes. It felt great to get the same grace that I am always giving.“

“Great place. A little crowded for that time at night. The manager was pleasant. His employee on the other hand that was there was quite rude with customers. Reality check. Make sure you dont have employees like that working for you. Brings the whole attitude for all who is around down. Good service overall“

“My Favorite Subway! Open 24 Hours and the staff is very friendly.

I live nearby and I’ve discovered that preordering your sub through their app works wonders! The subway app sometimes offers Buy One Get One deals, which basically brings back the $5 footlong!

I wrote my favorite order in a note, it’s for a DELUXE Tuna Sub:) this is what I include in my notes, and they perfect the sub every time ❤️

“Toast bread & cheese first. Please don’t microwave the tuna. 3 lines of light Mayo. 5 lines of sweet onion teriyaki. Cut into 4 pieces please”

Tbh the sub with extra meat can get a little dry, but the sweet onion teriyaki really gives it a kick.

P.S. The new dippers are kinda fire, the Baja chipotle dipping sauce is a dub
