The short rib with the mashed potatoes was delicious. Definitely a must get.
Food was average, waitress rude, didn’t make my drink order correctly and argued that it was correct
My family and i came here for my daughters 14th birthday. We were so impressed with the ascetics of the restaurant, it was absolutely beautiful. Great for pictures but the food was mediocre and the selection of food was horrible.

Urban Roast at The Wharf in DC is a beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere and great décor. The location is perfect, especially for outdoor seating on a nice day. The food is fricken amazing, delicious, yummy, and fire. Specific highlights from the menu include the Hangover Board, Crab balls, and a Lambshank that is so tender it melts in your mouth. For brunch, the Rise and Shine Platter comes recommended. Dishes like steak and eggs, toast, and cakes are also served, with desserts noted as a favorite, though the Smores dessert was considered overpriced. The drinks are bomb, including a Blackberry Martini and a Brown Sugar Espresso Martini, as well as a Peach Mojita Mocktail.
The service is outstanding, attentive, friendly, polite, courteous, professional, and calm even when the restaurant is busy. Staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and provide great, thoughtful, and spot-on recommendations, checking in at the perfect moments. The restaurant accommodates private groups with punctual service, and the management goes out of its way to be helpful. The overall experience is great and does not disappoint, with many guests planning to return.
