“My first time at Gus's Crab Shack was back in December of 2021 when a band that i represent was hired by Gus to entertain his guests. Since that time, we have been a regular part of his entertainment lineup. What started as a spot at the back wall turned into a stage being built for all bands to play on and then with a new huge stage outside under a tent and then again, he added yet another stage outside under another tent. He started with just two bands a weekend and now has up to 5 bands a weekend. he has pulled out all stops in providing the best entertainment that he can for his patrons. As far as the food and service are concerned, we have no complaints. We always get what we ordered in a timely manner. The food is served hot, and beverages are ice cold. If we had any problem with an order, the staff makes it right very quickly. Gus, the owner makes it a habit to go around to meet his guest to see how they are doing and if everything is all right. We highly recommend Gus's Crab Shack. The staff is very courteous and friendly.“

“When my company arrived from Kansas and Indiana in April, I took them to Crabby Dick's in Delaware City and they absolutely loved it! They especially enjoyed the crab cakes and Maryland Crab soup. I got my usual favorite, steamed clams! Our server's name was either Mattie or Maddie. Not sure of the spelling, but she was outstanding. We were there on April 22nd.“

“I went with my group on a Thursday which was a very light evening which allowed my group to enjoy our whole dining experience. Our server had time to explain the menu and make recommendation to our group that included a 4 year old. Why is this relevant? Because, she gave her the same respectful service as she did the adults. Thank you. Now let's get to the food. I had the Chicken Picatta. I had to take the picture because at the first bite I new it was about to be destroyed. I left nothing on the plate. “I enjoyed the blue crabs I got from here. Upon ordering we were asked if we would like to add beer as an ingredient and we said yes. This gave the crabs more flavor and made them very juicy. They have a hot or mild seasoning to choose from. The hot is spicy so be careful. Adding butter garlic is an extra charge. We also tried the Cajun crab sliders. They were a bit too spicy for us, but tasted good. All forms of payment accepted.“

“Restaurant atmosphere great. Crabs were delicious and came out piping hot. Sides choices were coleslaw and fries. Pasta salad is another choice. Cole slaw didn’t look nor taste fresh so we passed and ate the AYCE fries which were abundant and piping hot upon arrival to the table every time.

Everything was really good and I would come back again. Just have a few things I wanted to comment on. First, AYCE fries were always piping hot and cooked just right. Second, as the servers brought a fresh order of crabs over, they didn’t remove the container from the previous order which didn’t make for a lot of room on the table. Our server who took the bucket of shells took the container that was left behind with him. Overall we loved our crabs, never felt rushed and will come back again.“

“We decided to go to dinner at Firebirds. I had been once and was not impressed; however my husband had never been there. I have to say the food was good. Cooked exactly the way we wanted. The only draw back we had is the portions of food that you receive for the price that you pay. We felt like we were robbed. We don’t over eat so when I say we had small portions, we really had small portions. The dessert was even small portions for the price that you’re required to pay. The five very thin layers of lemon cake were good but the slice was very thin for $10.25. Out bill was $76.30 for two and I would have no problem if we had an appetizer and alcoholic drinks but there was none of that because we don’t drink. We each had a soda because the lemonade was too tart. The server was very pleasant and on time with everything. We tipped her well as we should have. Not sure I can return there. A little more light would be appreciated if I did return.“
