“I don’t usually leave reviews, but Okura really deserves one. It’s a bit farther than I normally drive for dinner, but lately I’ve found myself going more often—because I just feel good every time I’m there. The first time I went there was in 2009 on the recommendation of a friend who used to have a Japanese restaurant. With job changes, going back to school, and plunging headfirst into a turbulent new career with multiple job changes, I never got back there until 2022. And guess what? They remembered me! The staff is genuinely friendly. They remember what I like, and a few times I’ve described dishes that weren’t on the menu—and they made them perfectly. They actually listen, and that level of care is rare. The wine and beer selection fits my tastes really well, which is a nice bonus. Every time I visit, the atmosphere is happy and relaxed. I often see other customers come in and get greeted like old friends, and it’s clear this place means something to a lot of people. It’s not just a meal—it’s a place that lifts your mood. Okura has become one of my favorite spots. Friendly people, great food, and a warm, welcoming vibe every time.“

“We had a wonderful wedding rehearsal dinner for 30 people in this restaurant's backroom! Suki could not have been more accommodating. She met all the special diet requests we had: gluten free, vegan, and pescatarian without pause. She allowed us to set up our own bar and bring in our own dessert. Moreoever, she allowed me time to decorate. Her pricing is very fair and my guests raved about the food! High praise for this restaurants ability to handle small groups!“

“Always love exploring new Boba Spots. This was our first time trying out Comma Cafe, and I would definitely be coming back again in the future.

I would recommend helping out with the ordering process by providing smaller menu vs looking at the TVs it helps when people might have vision problems.

We ordered a few boba teas and we asked for no ice, but they still came with ice. Being the winter we wanted not to have our drink super cold.

“Oishii never disappoints! From the sushi rolls to the hibachi, everything is so flavorful and always hits the spot. The price is also extremely cheap compared to any other place on Main Street. For any K-pop fans, they have started playing bands like boynextdoor, txt, enhypen, etc. inside. Overall, this place is a hidden gem and I highly recommend coming here!“

We love the wonton soup and fried rice as well, and everything we've tried from the non-sushi menu has always been a cut above. Everything tastes prepared fresh that day; the vegetables are crisp; it's never overloaded with salty, gooey sauce. So many places just cover up mushy vegetables and old rice with sugar-heavy sauce because it's what we Americans expect, but this restaurant seems to actually care about putting out quality. “Awesome party venue! We come here often for lunch or dinner and this past weekend we had a 90th birthday party for my mother-in-law. It was a perfect choice for a celebration. Everyone could find the types of food they like best, which is very convenient but the best part of our experience was the staff. From the moment we arrived to the moment that we left they could not have been more helpful! They helped us set up our space, let us borrow carts, were fine with us bringing a tv to show a slideshow and a small microphone set up. The space itself was great - a room at the front of the restaurant, slightly separated from other diners. Extra perk - there is a dollar tree next door so we could grab last minute decorations. Hibachi Grill was a lovely part of our joyful celebration. Thanks to all of their staff.“
