“Once we arrived back in DE we decided to needed to get some caffeine. I got an iced chai tea and it was awesome! The lady working was working alone and trying her best to hurry so she didn't get a long line. We tipped her well as she deserved it.“
“Our Holiday Party this year was held at Torbert Street Social in Downtown Wilmington. What a fantastic event! Easy to meet food and beverage minimums and a knowledgeable event planner that guides you every step of the way. Torbert’s vibe is always great but decorated for the holidays it was downright magical. The team’s attention to detail made every one of my guests feel like a VIP. A special shoutout to Jessica and Willie for all their hard work and flexibility.“
“We used Smokin' D's to cater our 50th anniversary barbecue celebration. We went for a tasting on-site and exchanged phone numbers which made planning easy. We found Catherine to be a pleasure to work with. She assisted me in developing a menu and was very helpful in determining quantity and variety of food. Their prices were reasonable--and the quality of the meats was excellent. Catherine was comfortable texting with me, always responding quickly to clarify details important to the success of the day. Our final count was due just one week before the event which allowed us lots of time to confirm with our guests. Their catering menu was extensive, but we selected boneless chicken thighs, baby backed ribs and coleslaw. There were three different sauces to choose from, but we simplified things by simply using the classic red sauce. The day of the event the hot items were packed into a 'hot box' at a pick up time that was convenient for us. The hot entrees stayed at a perfect temperature. Because we had sterno supplies, we did not use their set up, but Catherine still carefully explained the procedure to us. We returned the 'hot box' a few days after the event. My guests RAVED about the food. I could not have been more pleased with my decision to have Smokin D's cater my party.“
“Salads were delicious and the tomato & cucumber was fantastic and fresh. We ordered and waited about 10 minutes for SALADS! They called us first, but others shoved in front of us. Those customers were rude, but staff didn't attempt to stop the jumpers. Otherwise, wonderful!“
