“Ole Tapas has come to our event for two years in a row and they are definitely a favorite. The food is always prepared to perfection and the staff is always so kind and professional. I personally always recommend the street tacos. We are so grateful for the hard workers over at Ole Tapas.”

“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. If you are in the Newark area and would like some tasty and quick diner food, go there & ask for Alicia <3 Thanks Alicia will be there again real soon !”

“Yummy. Breakfast so good,”

“Alli,Sadie,Emily,Abby,Sean & Nick are the best”

“Food is great!! Kinda pricey but nice portions and delicious. That being said, I urge pick up vs DD delivery as that driver took our order and cancelled. We were reimbursed, but I probably won’t order again because of this disappointing interaction.”

“sandwiches are so good! I haven't gotten the pho YET! but i have only heard great things. Van is so friendly! She appreciates her costumers, and she will make sure you know it. This is a small business that takes pride in what they serve, and you can tell by the taste and hospitality.”

“I had a great meatloaf dinner on Tuesday. Our Waiter Troy was very attentive and Pleasant. He did a great job serving us. TY for making our evening Lovely!!!”

“First and foremost the service is very good. The workers are very kind and will correctly put your order in to your liking. I often come here with my boyfriend. We both love the fries, he usually gets the burger combo. Every time he gets a burger they do it right he doesn't like anything on his Burger some cheese so they always put in his order correctly. We went there today and the food was absolutely delicious. We always sit and enjoy our food inside the building. Today the mac and cheese was so damn good. Also I always love the rice as well I usually get a number 23 and that's the whiting with rice, very delicious and fresh today. Highly recommend this place and location.”

“Dana was amazing! I love how he asked for our story on how we met! He made the experience so personal and genuine! The deserts were delicious! We are very pleased and he made the experience so easy!

His assistant was welcoming, and gave us time to taste privately before Dana consulted with us!

We are so excited!

Thank you,

Julianna & Demetrius”

“Ali Baba has amazing food! love the Salmon and Kabobs! They participated in the Newark Arts Alliance Taste of Dessert competition again this year, and their Baklava took 1st place - the best!”

“BAILEY saved the day 😊 I always get the same thing. Today she suggested a different bowl and it was the mango berry bowl 🥣 😋. Thank you”

“Always excellent food and excellent service. Their BLT sub is absolutely the best.”

“Sabatina's knocked it out of the park for my husband's birthday. we ordered a couple of sandwich trays and chicken tenders and everything was fresh and outstanding! the ladies in the shop even helped my daughter and I carry our food down the street since it was DE City Day and Clinton Street was blocked off. We can't wait to order again!”

“This is the best lunch spot on main street. Great value for money, and the staff are really nice”

“Amazing food. The kebabs are delicious.”

“It's the perfect place to forget your troubles (kids) and obligations (child support) and just relax with an unwitting tinder date.”

“Had a great meal at ugly dumpling, greeted with great service right away! Service was personable and accommodating to my stroller and a high chair for toddler. The establishment is extremely clean and beautifully designed. Waitress was helpful in assisting with menu, family style small plates, 3-4 plates for a couple suggested. We loved the dumplings with spicy sauce on side and sesame noodles. So fun to see everyone working on hundreds of beautiful, delicate, and delicious dumplings! 🥟 thank you ugly dumpling team!”

“The food was great. We had the ribs, fried whiting, and fried chicken. Also loved the fries, corn bread, and sweet potatoes. I would definitely recommend for a good home cooked meal.”

“My wife and I went for the first time while visiting from Ohio. We loved the atmosphere and the food. The beer selection is spectacular. I cannot recommend the lingonberry ice cream enough, that stuff is amazing.”

“This was our first time dining at this establishment and all I have to say is, wow! The beers, food, and atmosphere was incredible. Definitely will be coming by back here in the future for the Shrimp Sandwich I got. Out of this world and there is so much more I want to try! Highly recommend!”

“I went here for the first time tonight. It’s very cozy. The beer is good and the staff is awesome 🥰”

“The 🌶️ ramen…my fav!! Delicious!”

“I would like to recognize three staff members who went above and beyond this morning: Hanaan, Aryn, and Joella. I had a lunch meeting scheduled for 12:00 p.m. for 15 people, but due to an internet issue at my location, I was unable to place my order online. When I arrived, Aryn immediately asked Hanaan and Joella to assist before the lunch rush began. Before I knew it, they had my entire order prepared, bagged, and ready to go in no time. Their teamwork, efficiency, and willingness to help made a potentially stressful situation completely seamless. They displayed outstanding customer service and professionalism, and I truly appreciate their efforts. Thank you again, Hanaan, Aryn, and Joella, for going above and beyond!”

“We've been coming here since they opened and have never had anything we didn't like. Best lo mein, dumplings, iced tea, and ramen around!”

“Excellent service, food, experience. I was recently there with a group of nine, including an infant and two toddlers. The servers were extremely friendly and helpful. We all loved the robots! The food, though, was the star. We ordered many dishes to share, and every one was terrific. Highly recommend!”

“Beer. Pizza. Pretzel.

Need I say more? Not an IPA drinker and while they skew a bit to that on the tap menu there is always enough for my non-IPA taste buds to drink down. Case in point tonight was a sampling of Pumpkin Ale (that actually doesn't taste like you are drinking a candle) and a coffee backed brew that had a delicious blend of coffee over tones to the point I am sure I'm probably gonna be up from the caffeine!!!!”
