“I came to Metro Diner this morning off the humbug. I was starving & was craving some chicken & waffles from somewhere close in the area. Surprisingly the chicken was very seasoned and crispy. The waffles were also very tasty and soft. The strawberry butter mixed with their signature hot sauce was also pretty good. Alicia was my server. She was such a doll :) Her knowledge of the menu is impeccable and she took very good care of me. If you are in the Newark area and would like some tasty and quick diner food, go there & ask for Alicia <3 Thanks Alicia will be there again real soon !”

“First and foremost the service is very good. The workers are very kind and will correctly put your order in to your liking. I often come here with my boyfriend. We both love the fries, he usually gets the burger combo. Every time he gets a burger they do it right he doesn't like anything on his Burger some cheese so they always put in his order correctly. We went there today and the food was absolutely delicious. We always sit and enjoy our food inside the building. Today the mac and cheese was so damn good. Also I always love the rice as well I usually get a number 23 and that's the whiting with rice, very delicious and fresh today. Highly recommend this place and location.”

“Playa Bowls is my go too in Middletown, De. I love how you are able to create and add to your playa bowl. Great customer service, neat and clean atmosphere. Fast service and great customer service. The fruit is always fresh and great price. Kudos to Playa 🥣 and I have now become a frequent flyer.

“I would like to recognize three staff members who went above and beyond this morning: Hanaan, Aryn, and Joella. I had a lunch meeting scheduled for 12:00 p.m. for 15 people, but due to an internet issue at my location, I was unable to place my order online. When I arrived, Aryn immediately asked Hanaan and Joella to assist before the lunch rush began. Before I knew it, they had my entire order prepared, bagged, and ready to go in no time. Their teamwork, efficiency, and willingness to help made a potentially stressful situation completely seamless. The food, though, was the star. We ordered many dishes to share, and every one was terrific. Highly recommend!”

“Had a great meal at ugly dumpling, greeted with great service right away! Service was personable and accommodating to my stroller and a high chair for toddler. The establishment is extremely clean and beautifully designed. Waitress was helpful in assisting with menu, family style small plates, 3-4 plates for a couple suggested. “One of the few times lately where everything on the menu looked beyond amazing - and was! We ordered three sandwiches to share and each bite was more delicious than the last. the Greek coffee was phenomenal and their iced chai latte is one of the best I've had. The atmosphere is amazing, with thoughtful touches paying homage to their Greek roots all over. The staff is friendly and attentive, and genuinely seem to enjoy working together.
