“Great food... the best Mahi tacos. If you're there on a crowded night the waitstaff absolutely hustles, never a wait. The space is small, go early if you want to sit at a table on a night there is music.
Update 12/23/24... STILL love this place. I just wish it was bigger!“
“I like my wings fried a certain way, I asked them to fry them exactly how I like and they came out better than expected. Also very convenient after 12:00am there isn’t too many options on the late side of things, it was about 1:00am when I ordered.“

“Rob!!! Saved the day, I got here, alot went wrong. I wanted cheese steak egg rolls, for one, and kitchen was closed;( but Rob saves the day!! He's awesome! “We just enjoyed a wonderful meal this evening. We started with the buratta app. Fresh buratta with tomato jam and chopped kalamata olives, the perfect blend of sweet and salty. I then had the shrimp and grits for my entree and it was also good. The "holy" trinity sauce was quite flavorful. I'm so glad I ventured from my normal order, which had also always been yummy.“

“We just had a bridal shower there in May 2025. We picked Chelsea Tavern because it was in a central location for our 2 families to come together and celebrate. All I can say is that everything was fantastic! The service, the room, the attention to detail was perfect! The food was phenomenal! The portions were huge and tasted terrific! Madelyn was a wonderful hostess and Rob the best bartender and pancake bar chef! We couldn’t ask for a better day. Picking Chelsea Tavern was the best decision and the bride to be was so happy and said everything was exactly as she had imagined. Thank you to everyone involved, it was the most special day 🌸💗🌸“

“This place has got to be 1 of the best jems of Wilmington. I had the cowboy burger with fries for lunch and the black forest cheesecake for dessert and when I say impressed I mean it. Service was great very friendly. Will be back DEFINITELY!“
