“When you want to eat something filling, fresh and tasty, this is your place! The gyros are so tasty, I've had both the lamb and chicken. Both are meaty and fresh tasting. You can taste all the ingredients. The fries are so good, and they stay crispy. Highly recommend a side of the potatoes. They are so good! Everything I've had has been great. The plates are great to share too. If you are really hungry I recommend the Zeus Fries. They are enough for multiple people. Give this place a try and you'll be hooked!Parking: Plenty of parking in the back”

“As entreprenuers we travel the world and the unknown and get to have great experiences with people. Today we visited World Famous Grill in Downey and Hassan was the perfect gentleman. He helped us with a Kabob Combo Plate with hummus, rice salad and pita bread along with their famous Western Burger which was monstrous and delicious. Our daughter was also able to order chicken nuggets and fries as well. We appreciate these small businesses opposed to all the BIG corporations who usually say no to us asking for food. “We live a block away passed by many times telling ourselves we should try that place, omg! It’s totally awesome! Starting from Shae the sweet waitress she was so kind and lovely and she spoiled us from the moment we entered the restaurant. Then the cook who’s the owner, they kept sending us samples from their home made savory food. Shae, we loved your attention we are coming back for sure many times! Don’t judge the place by it’s looks it’s a 40 year old place! I could give more stars if I could. Wanna post photos but I DK why Google won’t let me though.”

This was the only reason for 4 stars rather than 5.I ordered the lavender oat latte without sweet foam & the farmers market sandwich. The latte was the perfect sweetness & the sandwich had super fresh ingredients & warm focaccia.It was almost $50 for 2 lattes & 2 sandwiches but the ambiance was great. Very clean with lots of natural light & roomy tables. A great place to get some work done.”

“Always enjoy going to Kyoto, but especially this location. Our entire family came to celebrate a birthday and it's great that this location has long tables to accommodate around 11 people. The restaurant is clean and well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. It wasn't a busy night when we went , so our orders came out quite quickly. We ordered the Spider Rolls, Yellow tail sushi, calamari, Tonkatsu ramen and bell peppers that are on their appetizer list. Everything we ordered was tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back again.”

It was my wife's first time, but Steven was as patient and helpful as possible with our questions. We had regular Buffalo Wings, Dragon, Tai Chile and Jamaican Jerk. All 4 flavors were delicious. The dry rub on the Jamaican Jerk was perfect. Will definitely be back! The seasoned fries are the bomb!”

They have really good food and I always try something new I love their burrito roll and their sukiyaki bowl can't wait to try takoyaki there for the first time and I find the atmosphere pleasing it's not too loud and I can enjoy food and time with my family. Only bummer for me was when the menu changed and sukiyaki was taken off the bento box but it pushed me to try new things.”

“I lived here in this city for 17 years and came across Verdugos. The whole experience was amazing from the time we came in to meeting Mr.. Verdugos himself came to our table and spoke with us making sure we were ok. The Steak is to die for tender juicy. The chicken salad was amazing. The bread and sauce they serve you was so tasty. The cheesecake OMG. I could go on how good everything was. I will be back. Highly recommended for any event you won't be disappointed. Everything is alcart... Its worth every penny.”

I didn't want to drive all the way back over there if they weren't preparing my order. It's absurd because that dish is not served all together and for takeout. It should be the same without any extra charge in the head, it is possible to deliver a molcajete to take away in a single container, everything mixed apart that they use a small plate where all the sauce is in the bag and all the guacamole mixed with everything, Mr. Manager, be careful, the customers deserve the same quality both in the restaurant and for takeaway, they charge us the same, their dishes must be served in the same way without abusing the customer”

The coffee was excellent, it comes with a little biscotti and it's so good. I wish it came with more biscottis. It was just the right texture and tasted amazing. I will definitely go back. Just remember to leave room for the pastries. They all look delicious. “Came here on a Friday evening with my bestfriend. (We needed a drink) We walked up and were immediately greeted. It wasn't a busy night so we were offered Bar seating, indoor, or patio. We chose patio as long as we can get a heater. Our waiter PePe was very nice and explained items on the menu very well. (Bestie and I always refer back to yelp for pictures and reviews anyway) The restaurant was nice, artistic expression everywhere. Very Boho. I ordered the 2x1 Classic Margaritas on the happy hour menu. I usually change the tequila, but i wanted to try the drinks the way they make it since this was my first time, so house tequila it was. The drinks were soooo good! Wasn't the strongest (which is fine) but the mix was literally perfect. My Bestie got the TamarindSpell. Im not a big Tamarind nor Chili with my drink type of girl, but her drink was really really good. Very surprising. Lol i think it got a little overwhelming at the end but she really liked it for the most part. The chips and salsa came out around the same time, which the salsa was pretty flavorless to us. It tasted like flavorless blended stewed tomatoes. My bestfriend asked if they had a green salsa to go with her tacos, which tasted wayyy better with the chips. I ordered the GoberNader (3 shrimp tacos) also ordered the Langostinos. Both were extremely good. The Langostinos comes with the full head attached but cut in half. Flavor is similar to a crab boil. The cucumber salad is just cut cucumber, a couple of pickled onion, and hot sauce dabbed on top(not exactly a salad, but i like cucumber so i wasn't complaining). My tacos were really good, i didnt really need any salsa, but i die for guac on my tacos, so we eventually ordered guacamole. Which the guacamole wasn't bad, i thought it needed a little salt & maybe pepper. Bestie ordered the Kesabirria, she liked them but she definitely asked for the green salsa on the side. Overall, really good place. Will probably come back with the rest of our girlys. Give the drinks another run!”

“I visited this location today! And I was left feeling so touched and warm-hearted by the staff. Everyone was kind and attentive. The food was prepared quickly and they made sure everything was in the bag due to it being a takeout order. The place was clean and so organized. The staff was VERY friendly I ordered a medium roast and it came out absolutely perfect! “Update Jan 24: Just tried the small nachos and it was the worst nachos ever for $13, I should have just stuck with getting a burrito!Highly recommend getting a burrito, especially a breakfast burrito or a bean cheese with your choice of meat burrito. I'm a huge fan of California burritos but the CA burrito here isn't the best but it's not bad. The salsas green and red are amazing so get a few. The service here is not bad either though you can catch a few workers bored on their phones but they're friendly. Place seems clean for a very public open space and there's a drive thru. There are only a few spots to park and they can be blocked by cars waiting to place an order in the drive thru. I recommend parking perhaps on the street then just walking over to place an order either to dine in or takeout. I definitely recommend this place and I'm looking forward to trying everything on the menu, but the last time I was here, Dec 2023 there was a sign indicating they're moving locations soon. Don't know where yet. “This place used to be one of those places that at first glance used to be like any other gimmicky potato selling place. It wasn't. The sweet potato fries with whatever you decided to sprinkle on them were delicious. The tots, wings and tenders were pretty good too.Today I visited one for the first time in a while. To my surprise and shock, they no longer have sweet potato as an option which I felt was the star of this whole food experience.I hope this is temporary and something that's up with this particular location. Had they had the sweet potato as an option for fries this place would definitely be a 5 star for me.”
“Besides milk tea, they also have tea/coffee by itself, and the standard add ons like honey boba. Has a drive-thru and offers some snacks like strawberry croissant. Parking lot is huge as they are located in a large mall. Jasmine Milk Tea at 75% was much too sweet for me, I'll definitely order 50% next time. Honey boba was delicious! At first it was a lil mushy, but once the drink sat in ice for a while, the Honey Boba firmed up and developed that amazingly bouncy texture that Taiwanese drinks are known for. Music is appropriately not too noticeable, great background music to work with. They have lots of outlets along the wall, 5-6 large tables, and one super long community table. I will totally be coming back again!”

They didn't get a 5 star from us on food because their beef dip is pretty horrible and my wife said their chicken sandwich was pretty bad as well. “Will usually stop by this juice spot when I go for walks with my niece. She really enjoys the strawberry and banana smoothie along with a Lenny & Larrys chocolate chip cookie. Feels like my whole family takes her there every chance we get, the workers probably know her. The atmosphere around this juice bar is very welcoming and gives a chill vibe for anyone. Since my niece loves going for walks around the park, she'll usually tell us to go across the parking lot into the promenade and she'll ask for juice. So since my niece enjoys this spot, I have learned to enjoy it as well. We'll just get the juice and cookie and go outside of the juice bar and hang out on the tables and benches that are outside. Only wish that the promenade was built kind of like the Block at Orange. Would've enjoyed taking walks around the promenade instead everything is all over the place. But that's for another review to be written.”
