“Hands down the best Asian in Gainesville and I have lived here 12 years. I would actually put it up against any Asian place in New York. Not speedy, because everything is fresh-made, right down to the wontons in the wonton soup. Dishes are very nicely spiced rather than slathered in sauce. Ingredients are high quality, from the bok choi to the beef. Please, PLEASE stay in business.“

“The best Chinese takeout in all of Gainesville. It's cheap, fast, and good quality. My only complaint is that it isn't close enough to my home. I strongly recommend the dumplings, fried donuts, chicken fried rice, and honey chicken. (Also the chow mein is fantastic)“

“We went to Mr. Han's for first time for my brothers birthday celebration tonight and we can not get over how great all the food was! It was not only fresh but so delicious! It was quite a feast with many dishes and everything was so good. I am a picky eater and my husband even said he had not seen me enjoy a meal so much ever. “Good portion of good food at a good price.

I especially liked the pork fried rice, which tasted clean and fresh, and the bourbon chicken is maybe the best I've ever had. The meat was really, well meaty, like someone just prepared it, a sort of grill-roast style. It was good on its own and impressively tender, but the sauce wasn't drenched on and had a really rich flavor to it.

They also got it delivered really fast despite it being ordered around dinner time.“

“my wife and I went for the soft opening in Gainesville and absolutely loved it. we both got the 4 bowl. I got fried rice, udon, bourbon and Thai chicken. The bourbon was great, the best I've had in all of Gainesville. The Thai chicken could've been spicier. service was amazing and staff was very friendly. prices were very reasonable and portions were large. my wife loved the orange chicken. we'll definitely be back frequently. great job bambuu“

“We have been here so many times and loved it! Their food is excellent quality and service is great. The fish is always fresh and so tasty. My husband loves their creative sushi rolls.

My only complaint was that it was quite loud last time we went! Could not hear the conversation at our own table. They also did not cook my salmon properly and it was still raw after sending it back twice and many apologies from the kitchen. Every other time has been superb.“

“Some of the best tasting eggrolls I have had in a long time filled to the brim with tasty fresh cabbage and other veggies with a fair amount of seasoned pork and wrapped In a perfectly crispy cruncy wonton, never to oily and always delicious. I sometimes just order 4 of them to go! This trip however I also ordered classic sweet and sour chicken togo! Another delicious house fav.“

My family and I was driving around from Trenton looking for some Chinese food and this place was still open at 10:30pm, they stayed open later for us to get there and the food was bomb. Loveddddd the egg rolls and crab Rangoon. The lomein was yummy and loved the fried rice. GREAT PRICES! Family of 5 , 4 adults ate for $44!“

“This is strictly take out. It has been my favorite for 20 years. Cannot believe I haven't done a review. Use to have a lunch buffet, but, alas, that is no more. I always get through on the phone. “This is a Chinese food place. Expect Chinese food here, not pizza or burgers. Big free parking lot. Menu is outside on the window. There is an overhang to keep you dry in case of rain. Expect rice with various forms of chicken and vegetables. You pick what chicken and what veggies. Soda you order a can or bottle. Bottle about $1.25 more than can. Ready depending on what flavor drink. Almost any dish is between $10 - $20 tax, tag, license, fees, out the door. May start at $10, but drinks & tax etc. Still close to 18 -20. Food servings may look smal to medium size, trust me normal size is plenty. I had a bird size serving leftover, but don't plan on it.more than enough to eat, very very good food, huge egg roll. Can't go wrong. Tables inside to eat if you like, no real noise. Probably recommend eating at home, you can certainly eat in. We ate in, and was fine. Clean no noise.“

“We were staying in an Air BnB and the host had left a menu for China Wok in the kitchen. We couldn't believe the prices, so we decided to try the food. It was the best, and we love Chinese food. We ordered the chicken with Chinese vegetables and the Bourbon Chicken. Both were about the best we've ever had. The rice was light and also very good. The dinner combinations came with rice and an egg roll -- for $7.89 plus tax. Unbelievable. We will get another dinner out of these generous portions -- and will order again during our vacation. This is just a neighborhood place, next to a dollar store and a laundromat, but don't miss this place!“

“A very good noodles shop in the area. There are plenty of soup bases available for your preference. I had the Sichuan style one and it's very good. The soup is very hot and that's what I like a noodles soup supposed to be. The MSG level is not as strong as I initially expected, which is good.“

“Hot Wok on 13th Street is truly a hidden gem. In my opinion, they have the best Chinese food in North Central Florida, and honestly, some of the best this side of China. The food is always served fresh, hot, and full of flavor. Their portions are incredibly generous, so you definitely get more bang for your buck. Every meal I’ve had from them has been consistently delicious, and the quality never disappoints. If you’re in Gainesville and craving great Chinese food, Hot Wok is absolutely the place to go!“

“Their food was on point tonight. 👏🏼 I've eaten from First Wok a handful of times and they're usually good. I had their food for lunch a couple times, it was decent and exactly what i expected it to taste like. One time near closing i got a dish (house special lo mein) that tasted like a few of the pork pieces in it were about to turn but I was still appreciative of them letting me order despite it being nearly closing time when I went in. And it was still edible (and loaded with the extras vs noodles) just not as good as it could've been otherwise. The guy usually working the register is nice. Last time the food was decent, but the guy at the register irritated me (nice guy wasn't there) by taking a guy before me that walked in a couple minutes after me. Maybe he knew him personally, but I'm almost religious about following what I feel like is a proper succession, so it upset me (probably unreasonably so). But all of this post was really just to say that tonight the food was so exceptionally delicious I wanted to share the experience with others.“
