“Las Carretas has been my go to restaurant in Gainesville for 2 years now! But this recent experience shows just how amazing the staff really is. Saturday I suspected I lost a diamond ring at one of the booths. I called Sunday and left my number in case something showed up. I wasn’t hopeful I’d be getting a call back. On Wednesday I got a call from Javi notifying me they found a ring. Turns out, It was my ring !! 😭🥹 I love the food, drinks, and atmosphere of this restaurant but the people who work here are truly great people. Thank you Las Carretas staff for being honest and amazing at what you do. 🫶🏼“

“Took my boys in a tour of UF and our guided recommend we grab a bite here. The tacos did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and our waitress was wonderful. The owner made sure to make his rounds and check on each table during our visit.“

“Tony Dilla's is an office favorite and you cant ever go wrong with them. We love the avocado creme its to die for. The service is top notch and our only complaint is that they dont open till 1 and they are closed on Monday. I have to go all weekend and then Monday too without my Dilla's. I cant say enough good things about this truck and the wonderful food they come out with.“

“Delicious food in a cool, eclectic atmosphere. Adorable outdoor patio seating. Great for vegetarians because they have TVP and tempeh that you can sub in any dish. The chimichanga with tvp and smothered in queso is to die for! And while you're eating, look around and spot all the hidden dinosaurs!“

“We really enjoyed the food, but the service was a let down. One entrée came out before the other 2, without the sides and without the tortillas. When the other entrées came out they didn't have their tortillas. The waitstaff got each item individually instead of bringing them together after we had to ask. Drinks were not refilled promptly at all.

We dined around 5:30pm.“

“Tried Los Tacos de mi Abuela for the first time today. Their steak taco was delicious and full of flavor. Their chicken taco was pretty good, but I definitely liked the steak taco better. Their fries are hand cut and take some time to get, but totally worth the wait. FYI, they do not have Coke or Pepsi products. I will definitely stop by again next time I see the Los Tacos de mi Abuela food truck. They have a picnic table if you cannot wait until you get home to eat.“
