“I went to this cozy and fine place and had the fried chicken sandwich on a toasted ciabatta. It was really good. Highly recommend. There was a DJ also so we had a couple of drinks after the sandwich. Definitely comings back.Parking: For a Friday we found plenty of parking.“

“Location is ducked off in Maitland, I almost missed it. If you're looking for a burger that tastes like a real burger, I suggest you try. I got the double smash burger with caramelized onions with a side of fries ($15 bucks). The caramelized onions really did it for me. The sauce made it way in every bite which formulated a good damn burger. Very filling, messy, the bun edges were crispy which made it even more tastier. It was freshly made and the wait was no more than 7 minutes. The fries were fries but I enjoyed the fact that they weren't packed with salt. I believe they had no salt now that I think about it. I appreciate that. I didn't add the side of cheese as I felt like that was too much for me. I bet it would have created even more of a mess. It wasn't necessary but I did get pickles on the side which were crunchy and fresh. I would recommend this spot if you're looking for a made to order smash burger.“

“We had a great night outside on the patio tonight. I think we were served by the manager? He came over and asked if we had been served. We had not, so he got our drinks for us. We ordered the shrimp and hummus appetizers. It was tasty and very filling. I also ordered the southwest chicken salad to go. It was brought out promptly and looks delicious. “What an amazing surprise this place had everything flavors, service, Ambiance, private booths and unique seating options. The ramen was great and the Omurice was as good if not better than some I had in Japan. The kids loved the ramen and everyone left full and satisfied. “It has been a while since I've been there. I wanted to go somewhere different and it's very difficult in East Orlando to go somewhere different cuz there's a lot of junk here as far as restaurants are concerned. So I went there since it's been awhile and wanted to experience what it's like an hour days and it was good. I was thinking about having some wine with my salad my Asian salad and I tried some hummus with pizza they were both pretty good the salad of the two being the best.“

“If you're looking for those throwback, good old fashioned yeast donuts, this is it! While I love to try new things sometimes you just need something that brings you back to childhood. I came on a Saturday around 1PM worried that they may have limited selection as what typically happens for donut shops, they definitely had way more than I thought! I was very quickly helped and I did have to ask for pricing on the donuts as they didn't show them anywhere but at roughly $12 for a dozen, it can't be beat! I was craving a simple chocolate glazed donut with peanuts which for some reason is hard to find but they had it! They also have so many selections of fruity flavors, and crème filled donuts. I'm a chocolate lover so I was happy to find that they had a chocolate crème filled donut also! While this was a drive for me, I will definitely be back at least once a month or so... definitely worth it!“

“I cannot recommend Jimmy Hula's highly enough! It's primarily burgers and tacos, but far from your typical burgers and taco place. Everything has sort of an island-y theme, from the decor to the food. For example, my go-to is the luau taco, which has teriyaki chicken and pineapple-mango pico. The flavors are absolutely incredible, and the pineapple-mango pico is so good that I usually get a large side of it to-go afterwards. Not gonna lie, these are my favorite tacos in the world. Everything is pretty much customizable. The tacos are sold as singles, so you can mix and match the type and amount to fit your hunger level and so you can try a variety. You can also choose your protein. The burgers can also be made as either single or double. The atmosphere is super relaxed and casual, as you'd expect with the island theme, and the staff are always really nice. Jimmy Hula was one of my most frequent choices when I lived in central Florida; now, it's one of the places I absolutely have to stop at whenever I'm in town. Do yourself a favor and try Jimmy Hula“

“We had the fried green tomatoes. The taste was nice, but they were sliced very thick, say 1/2+ inch. I just like mine thinner. The chili dog platter was good, but the dog wasn't warm. The Chicago dog platter was good, but the dog wasn't warm either, and the bun was dry, not fresh. Our server was friendly. It has a nice atmosphere.“

“At the time we used to frequent this wonderful little restaurant the elderly couple that were the proprietors were the nicest & friendliest of just a handful of the small 'go to' safe haven style eateries. We certainly miss going there. We hope and pray they still run and operate it. Perhaps one day soon we can get back there!!“
