“My wife and I went this morning on her birthday. She can’t have any dairy and they were very accommodating. They had vegan cream cheese and they hand cut my wife’s bagel so it doesn’t go near any other cheese bagels. I highly recommend Jeff’s Bagel Run!! I hope it comes near The Villages, FL one day soon!!“

“I'm from NY and I feel that the bagels here are closest to what I'm used to. I especially love how they generously coat the poppy seed and sesame seed bagels too and bottom with seeds. My only negative is the lack of salt in their recipe. Could use a bit more, but it's easily corrected with a pinch before eating.“

“I like this place because it's a simple walk from my house but I have just a few issues. First, my bagel came with very little cream cheese. Second, you need more tables. Not high-top ones. I'm watching an elderly woman struggle to get up in and push forward a bar stool type chair. This place can certainly fit another table for 4. There's ample parking and the staff is nice. I just feel it needs an update inside for better customer flow.“

But this visit they were closing so they were limited on what they had.. my coffee was cold they didn't have Creamer. But overall I like this place and I can't give it a bad review for one bad visit“

“Great bagel sandwiches and fresh baked bagels. Sometimes it gets backed up during regular rush breakfast hours but the drive thru moves quicker than you think. A bit pricey, and lots of calories in some of the sandwiches-usually have to specify one egg instead of two on any breakfast sandwich I order. Caribou coffee is their coffee, which is pretty good!“

“If I’m feeling extra hipster, I really dig Foxtail Coffee - specifically the Winter Park location on Orange Avenue. It’s charming in a handlebar moustache kinda way, and I’m always drawn to working on a screenplay in one of the tight corner spot. They have cool implements of caffeinated wonder, and some other edible treats that can keep your mojo in a fluid state.

The location on Lee Road has none of that. It’s a purely drive thru model, more of a Kia version of the Rolls Royce. I had a mocha recently, and in shot form, it was pretty decent. I tried to sit outside on the patio, but the traffic was a distraction. In the summer, this will be a zero-sum game.

If you’re looking for a solid alternative to Starbucks, I can give Foxtail a firm thumbs up. Be sure to give the breakfast sandwich a whirl. And if you’re craving the coffee shop vibe for some creative deliberation, they do have some cool spots - just not this one.

A good choice for a pick up and roll.
