“Fantastic Chinese takeout restaurant. Portions are generous and is bang for your buck, especially the lunch menu. I don't know if they have an authentic menu like some Chinese restaurants do but if you want American Chinese takeout, this is one of the best. PS - get the hot and sour soup and add the egg roll to your meal, it's worth it.“

“We had a great experience at this Chinese restaurant and tried the Dim Sum, which is served all day. The food came out hot and fresh, and everything we ordered tasted amazing.
We tried Siu Mai, Pork Ribs w Black Bean Sauce, Steamed Roast Pork Buns, Crispy Shrimp Wonton, Green Onion Pancake, Shrimp Stuffed Eggplant, Singapore Mei Fun, Egg Custards & Jasmine Green Tea.

“Everything we had was delicious. The cold noodles were amazing, loved the soup dumplings. And there was a pork dish in some kind of chili oil/broth/sauce that was incredible. “I was at Hai San years ago, and I loved it. I went back after all this time and still loved it. Good, old fashioned 1950s-1970s Chinese Food, made to perfection. They even have old school, White Sauce Chicken Chow Mein...if you understand that reference, then you know what to expect...great Chinese Food from a bygone era. If it weren't more than an hour's drive from my house by highway, I would take food out from Hai San on a regular basis. It was good years ago, and still is the best Chinese Food I have had in Central Florida!

My wife and I were staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites right near Hai San and were in the mood for Chinese food, but too tired to go out to eat, so placed an order for pickup and brought it to our room.

Although we live in Maryland, we are originally from New York. And like most New Yorkers, we are snobs when it comes to pizza, bagels and Chinese food :-)

Well, Hai San passed the snob test. We thoroughly enjoyed our order of shrimp rolls, spare ribs, and Moo Shoo Pork. Also, when we told them we were bringing the food to our hotel room, they supplied us with plates, and plastic utensils.

The food was well prepared, hot, tasty and reminded me of our take-out places in New York!“

“People are super kind and friendly. Food was amazing and for the first time ever, my Mongolian beef was actually spicy. It had enough spice to leave a burning sensation in your lips but spicy enough to keep going for more. For getting it before they closed, the food did not drop in quality. Best Chinese I had in a while!

Kid-friendliness: Looked to see the kitchen line and a cook saw me and said hi. He was very kind and friendly. The receptionist was also kind and friendly.“

“We have been looking for a Chinese take-out restaurant that serves great tasting food and is reasonably priced. China Magic is that place. We ordered the basics of wonton soup, steamed dumplings, egg roll, spring roll, bar b q spare ribs, pork fried rice, chicken with broccoli, and pepper steak. All were pint portions and have enough for another dinner. They even gave us General Tso's chicken for free. Although it's not just around the corner, the 20 mins from my home was worth the trip. It's a close reminder of Chinese food take-out restaurants from LI, NY.“

“This is a busy little takeout place. The young lady at the front was really nice. The food is good and made from scratch so on busy nights it takes time. Its not fast food so those who complain about the wait need to chill, or hit up a panda express.“

The rice has the perfect consistency and texture while maintaining a very natural taste unlike some places where there is a slight after taste. The pepper steak was just amazing. Don’t go to this place without calling first. Maybe it’s supply chain issues but they didn’t even have teriyaki chicken or super greens. Some of the most popular things on the menu. I knew I should just cooked at home lol“

“This was one of the better restaurants that I have been in Orlando. Very authentic Chinese food, which is hard to find. It felt similar to the caliber of a NY Chinatown spot.
